Very very sweet bag. Great stuff man! :tsg_smilie_cool:
  2. http://www.tourspecgolf.com/catalog/index....mp;filter_id=25 Just check the Pro Shop here, you can buy them all from there. You can also PM Chris, he can get you bags that aren't listed here too. :)
  3. Oh I know it's for your swing not mine :tsg_smilie_smile: but just as a poing of reference to compare the axiv vs stock shafts... I guess once you're done from fitting school you'll have lots of time to test all your clubs. :tsg_smilie_cool:
  4. Great info Chris... it further confirms the need for more loft... especially for a recreational golfer like myself. And with my swing speed being below yours I definitely have to stick to R flex.... I guess you didn't try any of your Axiv shafts out? I'd be curious to see if they added yardage and their launch characteristics as I'm thinking of getting one from you. :tsg_smilie_cool:
  5. I think Chris had mentioned in another thread that all Srixon forgings were all made in Japan. I do like my I-506's. At the beginning I found the leading edge a little on the sharp side but I've gotten used to it. The set originally came with Rifle Flighted 6.0's which are way to stiff for me. They are being re-shafted to Nippon NS Pro 850GH R flex steel this week for me. ^_^
  6. Hi guys, Anyone of closeup pics of the sole (leading edge grind) of Tourstage TS-202 irons they can post? Thanks! :tsg_smilie_cool: Or any pics of TS-202's for that matter, I'm having a hard time finding any on the web at all. Thanks! :tsg_smiley_embarrassed:

Great looking bag and great looking pics!! :tsg_smilie_cool:
  8. Just PM Chris (TourSpecGolfer). He can get almost anything that's available in Japan. Just because it's not listed in the Pro Shop doesn't mean he can't get it. :tsg_smilie_cool:

The weights are interesting looking... I prefer them hidden in the sole rather than look like little bridgestone tires... :tsg_smilie_wink: http://www.bridgestonegolf.com/en/prodgcos.aspx

Definitely look forward to the pics C and some feedback on how they perform, from the preview pics I've seen they look like one sweet set of irons... :tsg_smilie_cool:
  11. Thanks for the good advice. I'm looking for a set I can grow with and that's a step up from what I have now. I definitely don't mind experimenting... Anyone with feedback on Tourstage V3000's? There is someone local here who has a set for sale. Thanks!
  12. There are also Tour Premiums in cast, and that's what I have. The MP27's are tempting especially if they have graphite. :) Thanks for checking it out for me. :)
  13. I don't like too much offset. Are any of the tourstage offerings forgiving or something I coud "grow" into. I love the look of the X-blades but I'm afraid they may be too advanced for me.
  14. Hi I'm currently playing a cast set of Precept Tour Premium Irons and I'm looking at moving up to a forged set of irons. There are many to choose from out there and from many of the reviews I've read it seems like many of the sets are for low handicappers. Can anyone give me some recommendations on a forged set that might suit someone that shoots in the 90's? I'm looking obviously for a set that is forgiving with a larger sweetspot. :tsg_smiley_embarrassed: Thanks guys!
  15. Thanks for the recommendations! I'm definitely interested in the Epon 460. If I'm not mistaken you're using it now and have tried it originally with the stock shaft? When stock does it feel head heavy? Any idea what the swingweight rating is stock? I just want to get an idea of the feel since I can't exactly demo it (wish I was back in Japan!!) :) When will TSG be getting the ZR-600's in or be doing pre-order? One of the reason's why I'm looking at non-conforming or "hot" drivers is my lack of distance. Granted that will probably come with more practice. Since I will probably be recreational only I'm not adverse to hitting an "illegal" club. :tsg_smilie_cool:
  16. Thanks for the input. I was looking around the forum and there seemed to be lots of positive feedback on the Epon Technicity 460... I was having trouble finding some technical specs on the driver such as head weight and swingweight... but from the feedback it sure looks like quite the driver! I did notice too that the Srixon ZR-600 would be out soon too... :) Ah so much to choose from! :tsg_smilie_smile:
  17. Hi first post here... :tsg_smiley_embarrassed: I'm looking at picking up a new Japan-spec driver from Tour Spec Golf. I only started golfing this year but have been doing it very regularly, 3-4 times a week all summer. I currently have a TM R5 Dual w/ a Grafalloy Pro Launch Blue 55R. I'm very much into gadgets and technology and much of that has carried over to my golfing purchases... yes I'm becoming a club ho. :tsg_smilie_cool: I don't particularly like heavy weighted drivers as my swing speed is slow to average. So I'm looking for a driver with a regular flex mid kick shaft and lighter swingweight. I've narrowed it down to the following 2 drivers based on their specs: Srixon Japan W-505 Driver Non-Conforming Taylormade R7 XR Driver I'm wondering if anyone can give me feedback on these two. What exactly about the W-505 makes it non conforming? Is it above legal COR? The XR seems to be geared towards the average golfer and it's light stock R shaft comes in at a C9 swingweight. I couldn't find info about the stock shaft configuration with the Srixon and what swingweight it would have in R flex. Any help or advice would be very much appreciated! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
