TourStage X-Drive 460P vs. X-Drive 430P
But 430p is also fade bias driver. I am in the test to accustomed to it. The shape is also very sexy in compare with the old versions. If someone have strong preference to fade bias driver, I strongly recommend 430p. But the shaft should be QUATTRO TECH 65 or 75. Yoy won't be disappointed with your choice. Zerohandy

TourStage X-Drive 460P vs. X-Drive 430P
I am really looking forward to your test review X-430 with Xcon. I have 430p with quattro tech65 but thinking of changing the shaft into code 6... Your review will be great for me to determine. Thanks

ckay's WITB *DUW*
Wow! Great combination. I like that TM SQ w/whiteboard73. Can you share me the review of that beauty? Actually, I have SQ TP head only for shafting. I'm hesitating between Fuji 660TR & Diamana whiteboard 73. Please.... zero.

Ozik X-CON Prototype F7-M and Altus Shafts
For your information, I will add up some comments on this. I'm using code 6 and Candy red apple(prototype). The candy red apple(proto type) is the developed version from original F7M2. As per the word from Matrix, F7M2 is the lowest spin version having the same profile of altus. Comparing code6, original altus and F7M2 in terms of ball flight and spin rate, F7M2 shows evident low ball flight and trajectory. But the fell at impact is very soft in comparison with code 6. The soft fell results from "Zyron". I hope this helpful for your question.

Tourstage 430P w/quattro tech
Great review!!! I myself also grabed my ordered 430P /w Quattro TECH 65S (9.5") and tested it in compare with other gamers that i already owned. 1) Current gamer * TM R7 425 TP(Tour) 8.5" w/ Matrix Ozik Code 6 stiff (dead sqaure face) - Total weight : 312.5g - Length : 45" - SW : D4 - CPM : 262 - TQ : 3.1 2) Back up toy * TM R7 460 TP(Tour) 9.5" (real loft 9.8" tweacked 1.5" open) /w Matrix Prototype (Candy red apple) - Total weight : 322g - Length : 44.75" - SW : D2 - CPM : 280 - TQ : 2.5 Usually i chose shaft and head playing out of left fairway side. In that meaning, Current gamer and 430P are highly recommended. On the other hand, even though 460TP has been enforced to opened, one or two in a ten, irrevocable hook happens. In terms of ball flight, 460Tour shows missle like penetrating flight having tad more fade bias. 430p shows middle and 100% fade bias. However, 425 Tour shows high ,long and straight ball flight. Therefore, in terms of distance, I raise hand for 425 Tour w/ code 6. But there is not evident difference. However, when it comes to feel at impact and playability, TourStage New X-Drive 430P is second to none. At least, I dare to say that I can not have a chance to make recovery shot from left side in the fairway. TS opened a new era of drive arena. For your information, my ss is around 105mph~110mph. Pure stiff flex of QT65 is good enough for my SS. Good luck. Zero from seoul.

Ozik X-CON Prototype F7-M and Altus Shafts
Are these price including international shipping, too? I'm interested in XCON Altus strong flex. Can you provide me the detail spec (weight, CPM, torque)? Thanks.

Epon vs. Tourstage vs. Gauge Design Fairway Woods
Dear all TSGers. It has been a while to get into this forum since last year end. I would like to give some hint you gentlrman about selecting fw, however, I can only give you some idea about X-Drive fw. I ordered this beauty last december...and now i'm testing it for abour 1month practice session. Actually, I hesitated to select the right shaft between TX60 and QT75. But I finally chosed the TX60 stiff flex because I have some bias for tight feel FW shaft. When you considering the spec TX60(66g, 2.9torque) has, we can easilly think it as more tight than QT75. But in a word, TX60 is more side of whippy version. I mean it is not so tight. O.K then I will describe the overall feeling of this beauty more detail. 1. Head size I can dare to say "perfect". I am definitely hate the bulky head in terms of FW. Usually, TS launches a little bit bulky head size of fw (C300, C500, F-st, F-st+, VIQ and so on) without related to their performance. But from the X-st series, TS just step into the compact apprearance realm. Comparing those X-st and New X-Drive fw, I will raise the hand of X-drive fw. Furthermore, It looks pear shape. 2. Impact feeling It has more metalic sound bias. Comparing with TM V-Steel, it is far better metalic. 3. Trajectory It makes beautiful penetrating and fade bias curve. When addressing, the face sits deadly square. You can play out of the left side fairway. But I am not sure whether the result come from the head shape of shaft spec. But in my view, I seems from head shape. 4. Controllability You can get a hint from the name. It is not so easy handling one. If you want easy to take off from the tee and deck, you should go VIQ. But anyway it very interesting and challenging spec. 5. Shaft Generally speaking, TX60 is pretty good enough for usual golfer. But more tight feel bias golfer need to think other shaft such as stock QT65. Abovementioned is my feeling. I just want to be assistance of your chosing. Thanks Zerohandy

Tourstage Fiarway Woods
In terms of head size, X-ST fw is tad more larger than that of New X-Drive fw, however, more deeper face. If you have ever used titleist 904f fw, i am sure the head size of those two (X-Drive fw and 904f) are almost same. Also, in terms of playability i.e on the fareway, X-ST seems to be little bit harder than X-Drive fw. However, on the tee, the performance of X-St is incredible. So, I'm not thinking of throw my X-ST spoon (with Tour AD M65, Stiff), instead, I will add X-Drive fw #5 with Quattro Tech 65 stiff. After testing, I will follow it up again. Thanks

Ozik 2007 Lineup in the Pro Shop
How's going on Gocchin? Wow, So gorgeous TSG!!! I'm already one of supporter for OZIK line. Actually, I've already equiped ozik shafts to my new gamers...until coming down my pre-ordered New X-Drive 430P with Quattro Tech. Usually, i cope with my low handi friends with TM425 Tour Issue with ozik code 6. And for 2007 seasion, I am practicing TM 460 Tour Issue with Ozik Candy prototype. Those two shafts have definitely different characteristics. Code 6 has been already explained a few time through many threads but candy proto is new here. In a word, candy proto has Altus spin rate and code 6 launching angle. In addition, candy proto felt very smooth steming from zylon which is added in Altus, TP-7 and TP-7X line. After a few field test, I will post some review. In my opinion, the man who prefer to the taste of "tight" code 6 has will love X-CON series whereas the man preferring to the taste of "smooth" altus line has will love X-CON altus or candy proto. Usually code and X-CON series felt true to their flex because those lines have not zylon. However, Altus and TP line felt a tad more smooth to their flex. Even though there being definite pricing gap between code/X-CON series and TP series, the performance is another story. It means "taste for taste". Personally, I prefer code series to other lines having zylon. I will be back with more fruitful information in the near future. Good luck TSGer! Zero

Matrix Ozik Code 6 Shafts
Dear Dave, I can not express any word than thanks for your kind feed-back. All golfers always think over and over for finding the best fit equipments for themselves regardless of their ages and their sex. As one who always gets bright ideas and advices, it is common sense and responsibility to share my experiences and my humble ideas, furthermore if my experiences are good of assistance to you. In that means, TSG is the main server to provide diverse space where golfers around the world can fill it up. Thanks TSG!!! OK Dave! If i add up some comments more, you definitely will not want to tip triming of code 6. In case of code 7 and 8, those are soft tip version even though those are little bit heavier than code 6. Usually, firm or stiff tip shaft are felt more harder than what it is. I can handle, as like i mentioned before, GD Tour AD M75 (75g, 3.0 TQ, 275 CPM) freely, however, i had some time to fit into code 6(stiff). Surely, now i can handle code 6 in my own way. Therefore, in order for saving cost and time, i would like to recommend you untipped code 6 stiff shaft first. After testing it, if you want more stiff flex, you can amend yours without additional overcost. In terms of tip triming, in my memory, experts seemed to advise below half inch. Untill now, i am not feeling tip triming at all. I hope this will be of good help. Good luck Dave! zerohandy from Seoul.

Matrix Ozik Code 6 Shafts
Dear Dave, You might be interested in my experience with code 6. I am using TM425 TP(8.5") with shafted code 6 stiff flex. First of all, I woud like to show my drive as follow. 1. Total weight : 313.3g 2. CPM(after equiped) : 258 3. SW : D4.4 (weight configulation are 2-10-10-2) As per the spec, It seems like a little bit weak for me (my average SS is around 105~108mph). But it is definitely not. It is very tight in comare with my back up (905T Tour AD M75 stiff). Moreover, TM425TP(Tour Issue) has a little bit open face, as you know well. The feeling at impact is very solid and clean. However, what you must bear in mind is that the launching angle is high in compare with the originally stocked ROMBAX 65 stiff. Actually, when i ordered that shaft, I was recommended STR flex, but for making a controllable bomber, i chose stiff flex. It is real good. As you know well, the grapic is gorgeous also. There are so many premium shaft in the market, but i can say that code 6 is one of those. For your reference, I am using Tour AD M65 stiff, Tour AD M75 stiff, and code 6 stiff. Among those, if someone tell me choose one, I will take code 6. Unlike other matrix ozik series (TP-7, TP-7X, Altus, candy proto so on), code series is very price competitive and true to its flex. Therefore, I would like to recommed you to take stiff flex and tip it a liitle. That will be good solution. Thanks

The TSG Official X-Drive Thread!
Hello TSGer..All of us have one voice for New beauties from TS. I think I'm not the only one looking forward to hearing the Inf. about the New X series. Fortunately, I've got a chance to test the new x series which were supposed to sponsor to KPGA tour pro. But, not in the range. So, I can not exactly show you guys the data(carray, run, spin rate and etc) However, I can describe the feeling when i hit the equipments. The series i've got tested were as following... New X-Drive 410,430,430P with XD60 Stiff flex shaft. New X-Drive FW 13.5 with QUATTRO TECH 65 Stiff flex shaft. New X-Wedge(chrome) 52'' lofted gap wedge with DG S200. First of all, I did not get any different feeling from 410 and 430 head in terms of head size fron that of previous X series(405 or 435). The shape of head and the feeling at address are almost the same as 405/435. The only different things are the sound and the feel at impact. As you know well, the characteristics of XD60 shaft is very odd. It has 66g, 2.9TQ, however, it is very easy to handle and very soft. Comparing with Tour AD M65 and Pt-6, XD60 was felt more easy. And in terms of sound, It has more high tone and clean feeling, for example, like high tone of "Tack". So, personally, 410 and 430 with XD60 shaft did not move me to upgrade from my gamer(405 with Tour AD M65). But, 430p is different. when i see the head at address, it seems like tad more larger 983K from titleist. Usually, titleist menia have strong preference to 983 series than 905 series. Anyway the 430p shape of head is very fantastic. The feeling at impact is very similar th 430 but i felt a little different thing. The difference was the feeling when i swing it, i.e from the point of hand rotation and release point. It seems very smooth and natural (Sorry, i can not describe and translate my feeling in english...cause i'm Korean...) Moreover, 430P makes me think it is upgraded equiopment from old series. And the total carry and run was the best among the tested equipments. Unfortunately, I could not tested 430p with QUATTRO TECH. Personally, I made up my mind to pin down 430P with QUATTRO TECH. O.K then next...New X-Drive FW. The head size is very compact. It reminds me 904f from titleist. The face angle looks like a liitle bit opened. However, the highlight is the shaft feel and metalic sound. QUATTRO TECH is very new from previous series from GD. For example,Tour AD M is soft but little bit tedious or boring. On the other hand, PT-6 is too stiff in tip, however, QUATTRO TECH is very active, soft, clean and stout. Actually, when i see the shaft spec, i thought the torque was too high (Stiff flex is 3.8, X-Stiff is 3.6). But, definitely not. My SS is around 105mph, but the stiff flex is good to me. I might dare say that it is the best shaft among i tasted. Last thing is the wedge. For more fine test for wedge, it should be happen in the green side. So, I can not say exactly about the wedge except the feeling at address and impact. The size of new x-wedge is very small. The top line at address is not that much thin. The address feeling is almost same as gauge design GAS II. (not GAS I SQBT. It looks like shovel). The CNC milling at face is the obvious difference from old series. Therefore, It bite the ball very seriousely. The feeling at impact is very similar to New X-Blade CB iron. It will be a good match for New X-Blade CB iron set. The person concerned said me that the gun metal is not the fe99.9 but mild steel. This is all my first feeling at new series from TS. Next time if i can rent those and test in the field, then i will be back. Thanks.

07 New Fourteen Wedge
In case of V3, I don't know exactly, however, I can differentiate between MT-28 lowbounce and V2. First thing that i can see is the size of head. V2 is tad smaller than that of lowbounce model. Second thing is the milling on face. You can find CNC milling in the face of V2 model but not in the lowbounce one. Third thing is only my personal view, but i think the groove width is different between those two. V2 model's groove is more narrow. But I'm not sure. Last thing is the bounce loft. When it comes to 60 degree lofted L wedge, V2 has 10 or 12 bounce loft, but lowbounce model has only 8 degree. In my personal view, lowbounce model bite ball badly than V2, even though V2 has milling in the face. These are sole my review. Thanks

07 New Fourteen Wedge
Hi Chris, I'm still hesitating to pick up new weapon among 06 TourStage X-Wedge, Fourteen MT-28/V2, and Gauge GAS I forged. Furthermore, even though some TSGer offered me very pristine X-Wedge but resulting from some problem in paypal process, i can not purchase those wedge through paypal. However, i already use my credit card to purchase items from TSG proshop, i think my credit is acceptable. So, i would like to know the way of purchasing second handed items from TSGers using my credit card. And also, as per the new information from Fourteen website, 07 New Fourteen wedge MT-28/V3 series will be launching from 22nd December. Is there any plan to get pre-order for Fourteen MT-28/V3 in the near future? Your recommends would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
