  1. The 8M2 as a fairway shaft is outstanding. I have a set of R7 TP 13 and 17 degree fairway woods mated with the 8M2 and they really shine. It is almost a driver distance wise, but you get a lot more control with it. Long Par 4s and Par 5s are a blast now. Great choice.
  2. Those heads were offered in the states years ago as a limited release and never really made it that big. I remember seeing few of them discounted heavily. They are not TW irons, don't get fooled by it. I would say they are $4,000 more than what you should pay for them and that's being generous.
  3. If you are a good ball striker and using the 300s now, there is not a single club I would recommend than the Epon 301/302. I have been playing the 301 since introduction and I can tell you there is NOTHING that compares. The real key for me is the sole design (width, bounce, etc...). I tried supposedly more forgiving heads, but after 1 or 2 swings I just cannot hit anything else that close. Please don't be scared when people refer to lack of forgiveness, we are not talking about Tiger's blades here. The 301/302 are extremely forgiving for the relative skill level of the player using them. For the same loft and shaft as previous clubs, my distance has increased by at least 1 club since I switched to the Epon. And, what can I say about the feel! that's a whole different topic.
  4. Also interested. What are the loft/bounce options, please.
  5. Hi idrive, what kind of bounce do you have on them? thanks
  6. I felt like the 106 was a very high spin head. The ball just lifts up right away. Very easy to hit, but a bit on the big side for my liking. I could not hit anything except high trajectory shots, that spun like crazy. It was very problematic when playing in the wind. Ended up with an Adams Peanut, it is by far the best hybrid out there. Can hit it high, low and anywhere in between. Go with Adams tour versions hybrid, you will not regret it.
  7. Funny idrive, it was a 5 iron for me too. 5 iron from 215, the craziest, smoothest, most unbelievable shot I have ever hit with a 5 iron, and I am above average distance, but nowhere, I can hit a 5 iron that far consistently. The wife was playing with me that day, so I could show too much excitement...because she knows, it means more money spent on golf...
  8. NO doubt about it Chris. I read the article on the newstand, and I could not believe my eyes. I understand the value criteria, definitely not cheap clubs, but when it comes to performance and feel, they are second to none. The feel of a well-struck iron, does not even compare. I have had so many golfers on the driving range, some of them PGA Pros, come to me and ask me what irons I am hitting, just from the sound at impact. Epon RULES.....
  9. I don't have an Epon driver yet, but by judging by their irons, I took all my irons out to Flea Bay. Nothing compares to solidly hit ball against the face of a Type J iron head. The softest, smoothest feeling ever. I needed to keep my emotions under control, once a hit those irons for the first time, since the wife was playing with me. I understand their are expensive, but if you can afford them, the are very hard to beat.
  10. I have a swing speed of 110-112 and uses a Diamana Whiteboard 73. More more solid then the Blueboard 73, which is still a great shaft for me. Ideal trajectory with very low spin (at least for me).
  11. Hi Chris, Can you please describe the smell? Just kidding......nice looking bag indeed. May have to add it to the collection. Thank you for sharing.
  12. Hi Chris, will the copper-black finish be offered with the 208KGX?
  13. The leather straps are a nice touch...looks very high end.
