T do you think they have produced a forged iron in Japan because there is a higher proportion of forged iron players there than in the US? or that they have finally capitulated to the pressure of demand from loyal customers? Just wondering why now really?

I wondered about that, the 703 seems like more of a mid'capper driver. as does the whole 703 range in general. The Yamaha is the V201 Inpres which looks more like the X-Drive range of TS drivers. Anyways thanks for the info.

Is it 460....? love to see some more pics face and crown views pretty please... I've been toying with the idea of a TS 703 or maybe a Yamaha, this needs to be added to the list.

hmmm, I thought the Epon AF302 were supposed to have LESS offset than the AF301? your chart shows otherwise... am I mistaken or am I misunderstanding something?

Has anyone tried both Shimada and NS shafts in their irons? If so can you chime in with your findings? Are the Shimada lower trajectory but more penetrating as I've been lead to believe?

In short, I haven't taken the plunge yet, the apparel became available when I was maxed out with buying a load of European clothing ( I love Galvin Green stuff - Swedish manufacturer, not available in US AFAIK, I always buy some when going back to the UK) I will probably try some (I like the COQ DE SPORTIF stuff that I've seen.... funny I always thought this was a French Brand) in the spring when the new stuff becomes available, I love The caps (get some Tourstage in)

There seems to be some 'trends' occurring lately.... black irons, colored ferrules, maybe these options would attract the more 'modern' golfer if they were options. Not for me though :-) +1 for the raw face, they can be cleaned up with some steel wool and definitely offer some performance benefits.

Make the PW look like a wedge ie. round the toe off, too may iron sets have ugly PWs imho. Good choice with the satin.

not exactlky what you are looking for but..... I have a 435 10 deg with diamana red stiff or a 405 9 deg with GD ADm-65 stiff ... let me know if interested

are these different fro the regular 950's ? I guess the are just weight selected for each iron?
