  1. Cheeky question Bman.... do you have comparison pics of the 901 & 701 Thanks
  2. Chris, those look classy, kind of like RC/Sonartec. Sorry to hear about the back, that can be a real problem, take it easy
  3. Totally agree with Backspin.... Tourstage adjusted for me = perfection
  4. Nice Story ...thanks for publicising it. We all know what a good guy Chris is and how helpful Idrive can be, but this is above and beyond.....wow !
  5. Is that the 901? which shaft did you go with and why?.... forgive my nosiness still interested in your experience even if it's 2 months away.... not sure if I can wait that long so may dip my toe in the water before.

you can reduce the size as well, by installing it without any tape. simply spray the inside of thegrip with hairspray, slide the grip on, align and wait for it to dry.

V.Nice I was admiting fourteen wedges just the other day in a local store.
  8. Anyone actually hit on 09 X-drive yet? Do they feel or sound any different to previous offerings? As a long term TS User i'm a little sad to see the new looks, they seem to have been following TaylorMade a lttle too closely latterly...blacksoles/faces and now all kinds of starwar inspired mouldings on the sole, I actually loved the full face grooves....ah well progress I s'pose?, maybe I'll learn to love 'em?
  9. These new drivers seem to be a departure from the more traditional looking(my opinion) offerings that TS has produced before, my question is to anyone who has tried a new one..... do they have that same solid feel/sound?

Stunning Gold's have certainly come on in leaps and bounds recently in the looks dept. The graphics are really different but in a good way.
  12. Supposedly the 'tour only' Diamana black falls somewhere between the blue & the white. But then again it seems that there are various versions of a lot of the popular shafts right now......eg. 2 versions of the Fui Rombax z series. Maybe Gocchin can chime in? he knows more than most Still it's great that you've stumbled upon a great combination for you
  13. Wow!....... that looks like it's been chewed by Mike Tyson!

soooooo, does that mean the Fuji Z shaft that is offered as an option on the TS X-drive 440 (in the Pro Shop).....is a Japanese version? ie. for a smooth swinger? Thanks!
  15. They look 'right up my street'

It's interesting that there doesn't seem such enthusiasm for the latest products, thinking of the Roddio in particular. I'm still enjoying my Diamana but it's over 2 years old now and thought there might have been something that performs better given the (seemingly) large strides in fibre technology (eg. Nano etc)

I'm interested in what everyone's using for a driver shaft at the moment...... anybody hit/play the Fuji Z series yet?
  18. Hmmm British Golfing mags never give in-depth reviews, I don;t know of anyone that takes them seriously..... They are used by consumers to see what is new/available at a particular pricepoint. You never know the full spces of what they are testing. I wouldn;t be surprised to find out they'd mixed the review up. Today's Golfer always struck me as a 'tabloid' type of mag. ie. not taken seriously.... just my opinion though!
  19. yeah I think that's the considered opinion, although if you're a 'good' mid capper it can work. Basically need a good swing speed to get the best out of it. For me, X-drive heads always look the best, and thus induce a certain amount of confidence.

Chris, can you confirm/find out if the Tourstage X-Drive 445 is now available in 2 different finishes? Whilst surfing I came across this....g-one-golf.com I never liked the sound of what I've seen in pics of the red grid effect.... plain black would be an improvement Thanks!
  22. Love the minimal graphics.....
  23. LOL....... me too! (it's a disease)
  24. That's what I call a useful post....... way to go Gocchin!!!
  25. It doesn't look too far away from 'spot on'....... I love my Zodia's which look a tad smaller than this model, maybe the top edge good be a 'smidgen' rounder but it looks like a wedge that I could play without thinking about it. Raw black is where it's at......
