I've hit both, and you're right they're not too dissimilair, both very solid feeling, I'd give the nod to the TS(surprise surprise!) I think the Turbo Rubber makes a significant contribution to the sound and therefore feel. . The look of the TS is just that bit better too, slightly more pear shaped?. TS is bigger but hides it's size very well. I'm definately going ot get a 435 after the Christmas break!

  13. .....err you're dead right :tsg_smiley_embarrassed: note to self ...... do not drink & post ! :tsg_smiley_laughatyou:
  14. Great putter, I have a BB42 which is a long-necked anser. Value/cost ... I think they were around 750$ new, probably only fetch around $500..... it depends on where & when. Todd Schumaker(TKSPUTTERS.COM) is probably the most authorative on the subject of pricing. IMHO Bettinardis are somewhat under-valued compared with SC, who seem to have cornered the market in high-end putters.... Should you decide to buy it you'll not be dissapointed.... oh and its probably around the 430-440gm headweight unless it has an 'h' (for heavy) stamped on the hosel. In which case it will be around 450gm and also rarer & therefore more valuable. Hope this helps.... :tsg_smilie_smile:
  15. It's hard to keep up with all the new stuff arriving eh? It's a brand new release from Graphite Design, I'm sure Chris will be along in a minute with the specs....(oh and it's blue....if that matters) :tsg_smiley_embarrassed:
  16. they've still got some way to go though.....
  17. Let us know how the Diamana works out..... that's a combo I'm interested in.......Thanks!
  18. Chris, PM sent :tsg_smilie_smile:
  19. You need to add 6) Product allegience..... some people are 'loyal' to one specific make e.g Tileist have lots of died-in-the-wool followers. Personally, Tourstage Xdrive 405 at the moment, because it has the best compromise of all 5 categories and it's Tourstage!..... I prefer black heads, I love the 'turbo rubber/foamed' type of sound/feel, the shape and leading edge are 'just right'. It is a classic no fuss 'players' clubhead IMHO. No gimmicky colour panels, adjustable grommets or tour version 'smoke and mirrors'...... The only thing I dislike is the headcover, a bit too 'Jetsons' for my liking....
  20. Titleist sold a line of 'signature' wedges back in the day.... some of these were already ported. I tried doing a 588 myself...... it worked, but several drill bits later I had produced not the prettiest example

looking forward to hearing your experiences.....
  22. sure are pretty and I can atest to his work..... second to none!
  23. Great scans Chris, although how current are they? I know Lee Westwood has gone back to a Belly putter for instance. Maru seems to change his putter on a daily basis...amazing the no. of Vokey's being played, have they never tried antything softer?

Good point(s) Chris I'm pretty sure $1000 is not the real cost + a bit of profit...... I reckon it went something like this ....... "cost + a margin is $857 & 3c..... let's price it at a $1000 and see what the market makes of it! Pricing looks like 'finger in the air' to me...... give it time and they'll adjust the price to the demand(after the hype has died down).
  25. Reid, that is one fantastic headcover you have there!
