  1. I took a closer look today @ the Sony Open. His putter is the same type featured on Scotty Cameron homepage http://www.scottycameron.com/default.asp . I am sure there are some personal touches that Scotty probally did for him.
  2. I know the cover is a Scotty Cameron, but I did not get a close look at the putter. I assumed it was similar to Imada's putter...he had an unusual Scotty Cameron prototype with a couple of weighted inserts. I spoke with Imada's caddie on the practice green at Waialae and Daisuke was talking with Yusaku on the other end of the green.
  3. I am curious to find out what's in the bag of 3 handicapper.
  4. How did Gold's Factory irons and wedges do?...or were they also excluded.
  5. One week it will be available and the next it can't be found on the website. Today it's back...http://www.goldsfactory.com/webshop/catalog_putter_gf01a_fe.html. I have been told from a reliable source that the putter is not available. Does anyone know the GF01A is an available item, and is it similar to the PS No.1 or No.2.
  6. G-FIELD Premium Zone has 72 degrees [rai] angle, 4 degrees loft angle, and 4 degrees open face.
  7. Did you receive your putter, bag, and head covers?
  8. Happy Birthday Gocchin! Sweet gifts.....that new bag is not on the website yet.
  9. Will this putter be available in the Pro Shop?
  10. Fujita won today @ the Promise Ladies Golf Tourmament.....
  11. What's with cucumber and the orient? Beijing sells a cucumber flavored chip....Yummy?
  12. I must agree....I have tried the Heineken from Amsterdam. I think it was a pilsner that was bottle in a brown bottle instead of green bottle you find in the states. I am expecting to get a taste sometime next month....the best beer are from europe. Can't wait.....
  13. I taped the tournament and the bottom of the putter seems to have the G-field logo. It has the shape of a mallet...either the G-field Player Zone 3 or the Player Zone Code 4. The Print and logo are different from the website. It is not a Bettinardi....
  14. Look out Tadd, he's a year younger...Tadd missed the cut @ Chunichi.
  15. Japan seems to be in a world on it's own. I am amazed about everything and anything to do with this place. The care and thought process to making things are unbelievable. I am like Blader-X and TourSpecGolfer who appreciate the culinary aspects of the country. I am a little more thrifty and am always looking for a good deal. I once found a lunch place serving 100 yen sushi plates...toro and uni were included. My favorite places were small bars serving beer and different apertizers. I have not seen the Japan that gocchin has descrbe. I have been to Harajuku and Ginza and never experience the things that he has described. I usually visit the castles, shrines, temples, palaces, and Tokyo Disneyland. The people that I have meet are friendly and helpful...It is probally the safest places that I have visited. Chris I may take you up on your offer with help getting a tee time. I would like to experience taking a hour lunch break after making the turn.
  16. I have been playing with the 2007 X wedge for about a month now, and I love them. I love the look @ address...it has a unique grind. The face is shorter and the toe is longer...only way to describe the toe. The sole may be longer, but the width is about the same as my old Cleveland 900...the heel and toe seems to be wider. These wedges are easy to hit and I would recommend them for all types of players...I am having an easier time out of the bunkers. I can't help you with the shaft, but I am using DG200...seems heavier than my old Cleveland and I am still adjusting to the weight.
  17. The black wedges has a GunMetal finish, and will eventually corrode.
  18. Ranghip7 is correct. Please check this posting...http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/index.php?showtopic=24162&hl=greatets+wedges
  19. I just flew in from Narita and I purchase a set of the Fit 39 Gloves. These are the greatest gloves and they fit perfectly. I could never find a glove where the fingers fit so snug and the velcro aligns like it should. These gloves are in the bag
  20. Thanks Chris for your help. I thought the Endo factory was in Niigata...according to Tourspecgirl previous post on this subject. The pictures on this topic appears to be similar to the Epon headquarters on their website. Sorry, but I had to try on this huge oppurtunity....THANKS AGAIN!!!!
  21. Chris, I will be traveling to Hemeji next week. Will Epon allow the public to visit their Factory. Could you give me their addres if they do. I am dying to see those awesome displays of drivers and irons.
  22. I just picked up the black finish 52 & 58....these are the best looking wedges I have seen. I have not use them on the range or course, but I have been hitting my foam balls around the living room...no I have not hit a hole in the carpet gocchin. The clubs just feel perfect...weight, look, grind, and the face. I can't wait till I hit some real balls.
  23. One of the pros @ the SBS had a Fourteen tour bag. It seems to be a clean and simple looking bag. I was able to get see Ai's bag up close...she uses a white Tourstage bag. The difference is that the Tourstage is a 'WOW' type of a bag and the Fourteen is nice. FYI...her irons has A*I engraved on them....I have alot picturs, but I am unable to post them.
  24. The Tourstage is a well thought-out bag. I had the oppurtunity to see a bag @ the Sony Open. If you want a bag that is functional and pays alot of attention to detail, this is the bag for you.
