  1. I'm getting from the reviews that Maxima is higher launching compare to V-Spec. I have experienced V-Spec 9.5 is low launch that I had to switch to 10.5. Interested in getting Maxima Type D now. Should I stick with 10.5 or I'm ok to move back to 9.5?

    What's the flex of shaft?
  3. After reading all the wonderful reviews, I finally ordered the i95 in Reg for my 502 to replace PXi. Can't wait.... grrr.. Hope it's not too stiff if I cut to standard length or should I soft step?
  4. WoW!!! I think it looks extremely cool. I love it... The design is very nice. Wish I have a friend who could do that for my clubs.
  5. I just hope they play better, or the least as awesome as current OnOff Forged.
  6. Do you want to trade your Ryoma D-1 V-Spec 10.5 for 9.5? Where are u located?
  7. I was at Victoria Golf Shinjuku today to pick up the new PRGR Egg Spoon HD and spotted the Titleist VG3 on the rack. Had a quick looked at it and it's pretty. However I don't really like the top line slightly thick for my taste. Didn't get a chance to hit the demo as I had to rushed. Hoping to squeeze some time from this vacation to go back there again to try them... Any others have hit them can share the experience?
  8. Time to take the LY-01 out from my Epon 460ZR then... Thanks guys.
  9. Need experts opinion here.. So I just got my D1 V-Spec 9.5. It came shafted with Crazy CB-46. After using for a round I find it launch too low for me. I'm having hard time hitting it. I have extra Crazy CB-80II Nero, LY-01, and also Bangvoo shaft laying around. Which shafts is better and will give higher launch? What are the characteristic of each of those shafts?
  10. A stiffer shaft maybe to fix the hook.
  11. A little update: So i left my office early few days ago to stop by my local golf shop to pick up my new golf bag. I got a chance to try the New D-Forged and also V-Forged. Yes I found i need a little more work to hit the V-Forged. Then to the D-Forged, tried them both in NS Pro 950 Regular n Stiff. I can't seem to hit the Stiff properly. I thought maybe i'm wearing work outfit and not geared up comfortably. Tried the regular and WOW I hit the balls easily n more consistently. It really require much less effort. Also tried back what I have D-Steel in same shaft to compare. D-Forged feels slightly softer. But what's important, D-Forged gives more constant result compare to the D-Steel, and less dispersion as shown in the monitor. However, big thanks to Spoon for helping me sourced a mint set of Epon 502 that I have always wanted. So I'll be trying the 502 out first (sadly not until next month as i'll be flying to SF for few weeks). If I can't do well with 502, D-Forged it is.
  12. Wow this is great price for such a beautiful set. I wish I can hit these.
  13. Wow they are prettyyy... I want one.
  14. So much love for the OnOff... I think I might just go for 502. Anybody want to let go their set??
  15. On my case, my downswing often closed the club face more, which causes the ball to hook and sometimes just roll on the floor. So I adjusted my R11 to open face. Now the ball fly up n straight more often.
  16. Chris, do you know how does the 2012 Yamaha V-Forged (non-tour) compare to ONOFF? Or 502 with those two?
  17. Lol. Maybe I'll just buy something else for my brother and take his OnOff.
  18. Coming from D-Steel, the last thing I want is something harder to hit. Surprisingly OnOff were very comfortable to look at address. I've tried 2012 Yamaha V-Forged Tour and I can honestly say I'm not that good yet. I'm always hunting for most forgiving equipments, but yet still easy to look at. Might be slightly afraid of 302 but I'll try find somewhere to try it. Any other recommendation?
  19. Guys, I'm currently using Yamaha D-Steel irons that I've been using for months. Great irons and easy to hit. I recently purchased OnOff Forged irons for my brother. I played with him for few rounds, tried his irons too. Boy.. it feels so awesome. So softtttt and easy to hit. Now I'm thinking of getting rid of my D-Steel and getting something like the OnOff Forged. D-steel now feels somewhat bulky and clicky. I don't want to buy the same iron as I can always switch with him. I'm looking for something similar. I've always wanted Epon AF-502 but it's been out for few years. I might wait for next 502. What are your thoughts?
