Is that pic from this year? The head looks like an E or a K. I thought he switched to the 905... That shaft definately looks like a UST of some sort...

I bought a TM 510 hi-cor to see what all the hype was about. Not impressed. I found no extra distance at all. I've also tried tour drivers from TM, Cleveland, etc. and I have found nothing to knock my 983K w/ Aldila R&D Proto 85-X out of the bag yet... Good luck.

Cleaning out some of the stuff that's just sitting around: Scratch 60* log wedge, antique brown looking finish, finish worn on sole and face. Grooves are still good, but this finish wears easily. It has a Rifle 6.5 shaft. I bought it used and only used it 1 time. $75 shipped. Precept Tour Premium 52* gap wedge, head only. Head is in excellent shape. Very few balls hit with this club. $25 shipped. Ping Eye2+ 2 iron, head is still in great shape. I'm not sure what color code this is. I think it's 1 or 2 degrees upright but the paint was removed before I bought it. It has a Rifle 6.5 shaft with a Winn grip. Very easy 2 iron to hit. $40 shipped. If you're looking for low launch and a lot of role, go with the Titleist 983E. I had one shafted with a stiff Graffaloy shaft and it hit low screamers. Too low for me. I switched to the K with an NVS xstiff and I've never felt a better driver. Great boring ball flight, no ballooning, with a good amount of roll. And I know where the ball is going, how about that... :smile1:

What does that head way without any weights added? The weights just screw in?

Sweet wedges. Do they have a standard bounce or do they grind them to your specs?

Sweeeeet...I just love the satin finish on those irons. I would love to have a set of those 37's with that finish. Hmmm, how can I talk my wife into it????

Why does Nike have to put those holes in the irons? I think it makes them look cheap, like they're riveted together. Other than that, they are pretty good looking irons.

At least there's some kind of excitement on the ice this year... :smile1:

Agreed. They do make some great wedges, but they are overpriced and not easy to get.
