Thank you all for the kind words, but you have no idea how painful it is to see them blades sitting there flirting with me.... I have finally came up with a perfect solution..... 3-6 CB 7-Pw MB. maybe that way everybody is happy.......

Gauge Design GAS1 wedges are truely awsome, but what does "GAS" stands for? as well as with the "GAF" woods.

I truely believe every golfer (predominately male) will go thru a phase called the "Blademania", that is a period of time when you will spent a lot of $$$$$ and buy a set of small head, thin top line very "Pro" like forged blade just to satisfy your ego. You think your handicap is low enough to handle these babies, you love the Sticky feels, you hear how well your other friend play blades and make fun of the CB guys, so you have to have a set, the thinner the better, less off-set the better, better yet, exactly like what Tiger is playing. love at first sight,,, but then it's all down hill from day2. Then you will live in Golf Hell for 2 months, then you go thru more sub phases: 1. If he can do it... so can I phase. you practice more, swing harder, seek more instructions. 2. Maybe this is the wrong spec phase. You think you bought the wrong spec, must been the off set, must be the lie angle, must be the shaft, the grip, the swing weight..... must be the shoes, must be the wrong balls I am using. 3. This is not hapening to me phase. (Denial). I spend all this money on these and the 7 iron wont even fly 120 yards, why is this happenning to me? Did I do something wrong? I have not been unfaithful to my wife since I got these, why is god punishing me? Why? Why? Why??? 4. It's other people's fault phase. Blame on the proshop who sold you the set, blame it on the discussion group members who said this is a great set of clubs, what do they know? They don't know me, my swing... it's the dog's fault, ihe barked at it too many times, it's my wife's fault, she hates the fact that I bring the 3 iron onto bed with me.... And the Final phase: The Apocalypse pahase. I am not ready for Blades, suddenly the CB you threw in the closet seem mighty friendly, you should have never let the ego over-power your will. You take the CB out, and your old form is back again, the grass is greener, the sun is brighter, you feel the Golf God is smiling on you once again. warning: Blademania has a cycle of about every 2 years and 12 months or less cycles for the weaker will golfers.

I have no clubs. Every club in the bag has an attitude problem or something against me. My driver is not talking to me because I swear at him too many times. My 3 wood is ignoring me because he is not getting enough playing time. My 18* utility iron wood is having an identity problems, he can't decide if he is an iron or a wood. My 3 Iron ran away from home and was never found. My 4 iron is divorcing my 5 iron. My 5 iron is in love with the 6 iron. My 6 iron is gay. My 7 iron thinks i hate him now because my favorite yardage now is 140, not 150 as I was last year. My 8 iron wants to replace my 7 iron because my favorite yardage now is 140 so she tries too hard and I always get 150 out of her. My 9 iron refuses to leave the bag after i hit him on the pavement after a horrible shot. My pitching wedge has a mind of its own now and hot headed since he gets the most playing time. My 52* gap wedge is going thru puberty. She just hate this world. My 56* sandwedge hates going to the beach because he said she doesn't like to have a blast anymore.... wants a more relaxing life style. My 60* lob wedge hates me because I always ask him to go higher but then I chop him on the head. And my putter...... is having vertigo problem and calls in sick half of a time. I have no clubs.
  11. How is MP27 compare to MP30? Easier?
  12. Does it make the sound "Oink" when putt?

Look:****.5 380cc, very traditional. Feel: ****.5 Ball off HOT! Trajectory: ****.5 High launch as promised. Distance: ****.5 Less roll, may due to the high traj. Workability: ****.5 Draw/Fade ok, harder to try keep the ball low. Forgiveness: ***** The ball stays on line. Conclusion: ****.5 Solid driver with lots of forgiveness, the 44" will give me the control I need.
  15. I have the Izawa Bag and the Titleist one in black and white. The TS bag is 9" only, the T bag is 9.5", a little bigger. Both are great bags, but the TS is much more shiny and better attraction when on course.

New Driver in the bag Maruman Exim Nano 10* w/ Grafalloy Pro-Launch tipped 1" to 44". CPM: 267, D2
  17. It definitely seems to protect the right side although that's an observation after only 2 rounds with it. Sticker says 44.5" but I'm not sure how they measure it cuz I took it to the shop and it measured 45"... Will try one with the W60. You tried the r7? it is long too. As the fw, PRGR Duo Hit is really amazing, you might wanna give it a shot.
  18. Great review... guess now i will need to get a 14 to try it.... i am having problems with ball to the right side too. What length is the shaft? 44.5?
  19. Sweeeeeeeeeeet.
  20. 10* in Fujikura 553 S Look: ****.5 Feel: ****.5 Distance: ****.5 Trajectory: **** Accuracy: ****.5 Forgiveness: **** Workability: **** Conclusion: ****.5 Honma is long also, about same as the Deep, but both not as loooong as r7. Deep is much more forgiving than the Honma.
  21. Last 6 rounds: 79/78/80/79/75/80 Can't seem to go down lower, always a double bogey or 2 in there.
  22. Gauge Design Forged CB 3-Pw w/ Fujikura 717 graphite shaft D2 swing weight GD Full cord grip. Review: *** = 3 stars ****.5 = 4.5 stars Look: ***** Gracefully beautiful. Feel: ***** Nothing is softer, nothing. Distance: ***** 8 iron at 37*, added 15 yards. Forgiveness: ***** hardly a mis-hit. Workability: ****.5 Higher shot on the short irons. Conclusion: Goodbye Miura, goodbye TS.
  23. TS Synergy Deep 9.5*(one spec only), 380cc Custom fitted w/ Graphite Design AD W-60 @ 44.75", D2. Review: *** = 3 stars ****.5=4.5 stars Look: ****.5 It is black, mysterious, packed with energy. Feel: ****.5 Explosion+++++ ball is hot off the face. Sound: *** A cracked wood sound. Distance: ****.5 Long, very long, much roll after landing. Trajectory: ***** Mid-high trajectory. Workability: ***** High/low/draw/fade all ok Forgiveness: ***** Sweet spot like a size of an egg. Conclusion: ****.5 This is a perfect driver for windy days, it is designed for stronger/violent players such as myself, so I feel really good about its performance. Deep is good.
  24. Go with the PRGR Duo Hit.... you will be amazed.
  25. I just fell in love with my GD forged irons, and right now, I am falling out of love with it..... dang.... the black irons are sweeeeeeeeet.
