  1. 47* 52* 58*
  2. I could be wrong but I was thinking they were made in Bangledesh. As for quality, I think they are very high quality. If they weren't then I doubt Epon would offer them as a factory install.

I think Tiger plays True Temper DG X100's in his irons.
  4. I think adjustments can be made to both the 460 and 425 just the same.If you're talking about face angles the ones that I've seen have been 0.5 to 1* open. I get a medium launch with the Craft 425.

I hope Epon does follow the 'black' trend with the 460. I would order one on the spot.
  6. Has anyone seen the factory shaft trimming guide for the 9003 stiff? I've decided on this shaft for my new Epon AF-201 FW and can't find the instructions for tipping. My guess is it's the same as the MD series which recommends tipping 1.5" in a std.bore. I'm assuming the AF-201 is a std. bore. Thanks for any help.

I like the old classic non-cord Tour Velvet. When it gets hot and humid here in the south I can get a more secure grip on the club with the non-cord. When the temps get into the upper 90's the cord grips will turn slightly in my hand at impact.
  8. This is one cool looking driver. I like the smooth contoured chrome soleplate with no screws, no plates or plugs on the bottom. It gives it a nice clean style look, like the old 380. I also like the gold, it'll look good beside my X-model wedges that have gold paintfill. I'll have to find another place to hide the long brown box from the wife.
  9. I'm going to put the 22* Epon driving iron in place of my current 21* hybrid. I just feel like it will be more accurate for me. I prefer the long irons if I have time to practice which I hope to be able to do more this year. Also I think it will be a good transition if I can get the AF901 in a steel shaft similar to what I'm playing in my irons now which should create a similar feel. I think thats a big plus. Since this is an iron type club I would think the lie angle could be adjusted. This would be a plus for me since I like to play my irons 2* flat.
  10. I agree. The outdoor types know the Yamaha name means high quality. Yamaha outboards and ATVs are #1 here in the south. I would like to see them put the name on there somewhere.
  11. I don't think they play as stiff as you would think just by looking at those CPMs. I never put much stock in CPMs since there are different methods for measuring. I've had the 6X07 in stiff flex and it was softer than I expected.
  12. Nice looking club. I would like to see how it would look with the cavity polished instead of sandblasted.
  13. Wow, that is a nice looking bag. I like the color scheme, not too much of one color, just a nice blend. Those Epons sure look happy in their new home also.
  14. It reminds me of the old Hogan 'Sure Out' I played for years. There's nothing better for digging the ball out of deep soft sand or turf.
  15. I agree 100%. It has the look of pure class. I can't tell if its dark blue or black. The bottom side seems to have a blueish tint to it. As soon as I recover from the last ho-a-thon i'm going to order one of these up with a Roddio. Thanks for the pics Chris.
  16. I play my driver at 44.5 and will probably go to 44.25 on the next driver i buy. I can hit the sweet spot very consistently with shorter lengths. I have actually picked up distance because I can drive the clubhead thru the ball and turn it over easier. I've always measured the club from the sole where it contacts the ground at address, up to 1/8" from the end of the grip cap .
  17. I prefer the shiny finish too. Those big #'s are good for the older golfers, not me of course.
  18. I would definitely say the answer to that question is yes. I just put my new Epon 460 9.5* Axiv 6060M in play a couple about a month ago and its the best feeling driver i've had since the days of persimmon. The two things that sold me most on this driver were the nice clean look on top and bottom, and the ability to order it just like I wanted. I don't know of any U.S. product that can be ordered with your choice of face angle. Most reviews I've read say the Epon 460 is basically a straight hitting club, which it is very forgiving and easy to hit straight , but I've found that I can work the ball left or right quite easily, I know having the correct shaft has a lot to do with being able to work the ball. I can't speak for the Tour Stage yet but I will say you can't go wrong with anything with Epon on it.
  19. Those are beautiful irons ! On those wedges do you use some type of polish to keep them that shiny or do they stay that way just by wiping them off?
