I am looking for a set of new muscle back blades.

Characteristics I would like:

*a head on the smaller side.

*a thin top line

*no cavity or combo set

does anybody have any good suggestions or experiences with irons that fit this description?

Thank you in advance :circt:

Titleist 680 Forged

TourStage MR-23 US Blade

Both are smallish heads with thin toplines. No cavity either. Just plain sexy through n through.

Talk to Blade Golf Co. http://www.bladegolf.com/

They take Miura forgings and can grind them in all sorts of ways. Put them together to your specs and they look GREAT! I have a set of TF-2s that I "may" end up parting with. Send your email and I shoot you a picture. They run about the same price as a Miura off the rack set and they are custom for you!

They are so soft! Sonds just like what you are looking for.

The ones I have are Miura Prototypes for blade, really the 5002 (I think they called them) Slight leading edge grind, about 1mm of offset, refinished right when I got them. I liked them so much I got the GW, SW, and LW.

I'll even send you one to try!

It depends on how much :money: you want to spend, the fourteen protos are some of the best I have seen in a long time. IMO

I am not just pushing Scratch for the sake of it but IF you want unreal small thin heads look at the Classic Blades. In comparison, the MP-33s are HUGE... that is how small these are.

Best of the rest - IMHO are the nikes!

I just hit the cut muscles with projext x at a 6.8 flex and absolutly loved them they remind me of my first set of forged irons, np 14's I love em.

Don't forget the Miura Tournament blades. They are definitely compact with an ultra thin topline. Of course, with a super solid feel.

I also agree with the MP-32's. They are very solid and workable, but are not as compact with as thin of top line.

Let me put another vote for Miura tournament blades. Beautiful satin finish, thin top line, and very soft feel at impact. This is the set that actually has me considering sticking with blades.

I vote for Fourteen TB1000 prototypes....

So far, I think they are the sweetest blades on the market today.

Too bad those gauge design MB are not available anymore.

Those were one of the sweetest blades I have ever seen.
