xxio
Chris the news item says $875 for the Forged TP. That is msrp? What is "street price"? What shafts can you get them in?
+TourSpecGolfer
Yeah 825 4-PW, They only offer NSpro 950, S200, & X100 :tired: 88,000yen 4-PW is a much cheaper price than the U.S MSRP :surprize:

Godfather1
It's interesting about changing the weights in the new monza, Bobby Grace said he was going to use that idea in his next outter line, in the tgw catalog from march 04'. hornyjuan
MSRP on the 05 RAC TP is $1200...so street price right out the getgo is probably $900-$1000. Only difference is that the US set offers 3-PW instead of the 4-PW. I'm interested in the new 05 LT's...should be an awesome club if their anything like the old LT's. That set will go for $600 street price so good bang for your buck.
Breal
Seems like TM comes out with something new every month. It is cool but they need to slow down, it kills the value of the high end TM stuff when you want to get rid of it. But they are cool pics and good looking stuff. It feel like buying TM product is the same as buying a new Computer, but even Computer products comes out every 6 months or so. Not as fast as TaylorMade... I like the look of TM design but with their new product release rate, my spending money :money: won't keep up with their products. All you know, next couple months your Driver is obsolete... hahaha
xxio
It can be a good thing as well. If you don't buy with the thought of reselling at a good price later on. Golf equipment should never really be thought of as having good resale value (except when your on BSG). The owner of a golf store once told me once the shrink wrap is off the value of your product goes down 20%, each time someone swings it it goes down another 1%, By the time your done with a round of golf your club is now only 70% of it's brand new value. I got my 580XD Tour at $180 because prices are going down. Now I get to have a Tour head I can mess with.
tincup975
I saw Darren Clarke with the new TP2 irons but that is the only pro I know for sure that has tried them.....
Godfather1
Unless your a club ho which is a very limited group of golfers, it's not that bad coming out with new stuff every couple of months. When the new model comes out you can get the not so new model for a very good price. Some of the pro shops I have spoken to hate it. When I mentioned to them that the r7 is coming out they weren't too happy. I guess that is because they still had stock of the r580, which immediately went down in price, and they had a bunch left over even with the xd. It all comes down to one thing, and thats the bottom line :money: . Take a look at callaway, there is a reason they are losing money, I guess it helps paying Vijay, and just about everyone else to play the r7, but they are doing something right. TMMike
What pro's are currently using the TP irons anyway? Chris, As far as I know, here are the top TM Pros who are putting the new TP irons in the bag: Goosen (2-5 & PW; 6-9 still using his racMBs) Lehman Weir (traded in his trusty 300s) Funk (traded in his LTs) Perry (FINALLY traded in his 360s - about time Kenny...haha!) Sergio still using his rac MBs, Irwin was still using the LTs, Polter was still using his rac MBs, and Choi & Couples can't part with the 300s. Not sure what Clarke is using these days. Anybody know? Will it be hi-Cor or a legal .83 head? Thanx!

xxio
Chris, Please check again on the pricing of the TP CBs. I find it strange they are the same price as the LTs. I'm ready to pull the trigger....
