technomarine
Well, US dollar is at an all time low since "9/11". 3 years ago, I remembered US$ 1 = Cdn $1.67. NOW = Cdn$1.2ish. 40% difference. US$ 1 = Yen 135. NOW = Yen 105. 28% difference US$ 1 = Twn 35. NOW = Twn 32.9 (against lousy Twn economy). 6.5% difference. If I have only started school this year, the difference between the conversion I made in 2001 is like a Benz SLK240  + Well, don't want to discuss my personal belief of why it is like this. Mike
"US$ 1 = Cdn $1.67. NOW = Cdn$1.2ish. 40% difference." I think it is great that my dollar has gained so much ground on the US buck . Now when I am looking to buy something from the b/s/t it is a lot more attractive not having to pay the huge exchange rate . Christ I can remember when the Canadian buck was worth more the the US . Now those were the days
Sgt_Slaughter
im happy now too that our canadian buck is worth more. i hope it keeps gettin lower. :-)
Godfather1
I think the dollar will drop to about 1.40-1.50 against the euro, and will then be the biggest buy. One thing you have to remember is that germany, and france are europes 2 biggest economic marekets, and business is terrible there. Usually there is a fierce move before anything happens.
