johnnypro
Need some opinions. I have a chance to buy a new Fuji Pros 3 x shaft which I intend to put in a Cleveland Comp 9.5. I have a fast tempo and hit it about 250-260 off the tee with a medium trajectory. I'm 54, 5'8", 190lb. I know it's an X flex but the specs claim the tip is very soft, torque is fairly high. Any thoughts about whether I could handle it? Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.
Lowpro
jp, don't really see why you could'nt handle the x flex. i got a stiff about a year ago and eventually had to tip it to play stiff enogh for my swing speed. not really high but i do have an agrressive load on the downswing.. i'm about 105mph and feel i could have ysed a x flex untipped to get the job done.. Ken, Is there a shaft that you haven't tried !!! I'm thinking of abandoning my lighter shafts heavier heads experiment and going back to my old set up of DGs200s in irons and maybe 757 in driver or something similar. I am looking forward to consulting you (and of course purchasing from you as always) when I do. Have a good weekend. Toby
MrParr1noid
I'm not sure how everyone else sees these Pros3's but I've just recently installed a Pros3 Reg in a 540DF, 44.5" @D-2, and this shaft can take all I can give it. My swing speed is about 88 to 92 mph, not fast by any stretch of the imagination. I've talked to others who've stated the same thing, this shaft with 4.4 torque and low bend point isn't loose at all. If I were you, I'd put in a stiff, tip it a touch and go from there, this shaft is a good one. I've just switched from a Fuji 652 Stiff, untipped to the Pros 3 Regular, tipped 1/4" and I feel the Pros 3 is more firm and I like the response of this shaft better. I've been told by a responsible source, the Pros 3 is one of the more popular shafts in fw woods on the tour. FWIW

I know what you mean. I have 4 drivers that actually get play. 3 others that gather dust. I tried putting the same shaft (Six) in 3 of them. Still not the same. Last time I ordered from you you handled it great. I'm deciding on a 3 wood and once I decide you will get my email from me.
