Posted December 10, 200420 yr Last week in the Hong Kong Open and this week in the Dunhill, Italian player Alessandro Tadini has been using a mallet style Hiro Matsumoto putter(they did a close up of it right before he made a 50 foot bomb). It looked gold in color and this guy is putting great with it. Anyone know which model that is?

December 10, 200420 yr Hiro reps were on the putting green in HK handing out putters like they were going out of fashion. A lot of pros just grabbed one, including my ProAm player, but didn't play with it. I'd say 3 out of 4 were Catamarans. I tried the Catamaran and must say it's extremely well balanced but the looks just don't do it for me. Didier
December 11, 200420 yr Author Well either Alessandro Tadini was already playing with it or he got one from the reps you mentioned. It definitely wasn't the Catamaran though, it was a small mallet type putter. Did you see the reps handing out any mallet style putters? Anyway, Tadini finished well in HK and he's up there this week so the putter is working well for him.
