+TourSpecGolfer
I am very surprised that one of the most popular and best performing wedges in japan is barely recognized here on TSG. I honestly thought more members would buy this club, its got a lot going for it and I have never met anyone who didnt love it insanely. It has shredder grooves like the maru wedges did. Here are pics of X-wedges: 01, 02, 03, & 02 MID This is a wedge that should not be overlooked if you are in the market for somthing special. +TourSpecGolfer
looks just like the 2004 wedges? IMO the TW-01-02-04 etc looks way different than the X-Wedge.
alohano
Ok...I'll ask the dumb question! What's the difference between 01-04 in terms of playability and what type of player each wedge is suited for? FWIW, I'd be interested in 56 or 60. Thanks Chris. Take a look at the pic, The difference is shape, offset, etc.. basically the way it sets up not to mention the bounce and grind. most pro's are playing the 01 & 03, personally I like the way the 02mid sets up looks easy to hit. Godfather1
What finish is on the x02 mid looks sweet? I would consider them if I end up with either the ts viq or if they come out with a new mr-23, but right now I'm money with the new maru wedges. I'm also considering the bettinardi weges anyone ever use them?

Joey can work wonders on Maru's ya know :niceshot: Im actually looking forward to hitting the CB sandwedge in the ViQ forged set, I know its a fag wedge but my game needs all the help it can get. Godfather1
For now I'm not touching the maru's the x100 feel great. I really like the heavy shaft in a wedge. Can you get a heavier sw on the irons with 1050, or something else? I really prefer a d3-d4 sw in my irons.

Would you please be kind enough to share that website address with us? I have a couple of Bridgestone links bookmarked, but they don't tell any detail about the X wedges. Thanks

dorkman53
I trust that they will improve their English language website if they hope to sell goods in the US this year!
hornyjuan
Bridgestone Japan and Bridgestone USA are completely different. If anything I doubt Bridgestone Japan would care if they sold any of their equipment in the US. Bridgestone Japan is catering towards the Japanese crowd. Now the US offering of Bridgestone golf equiptment can be found at www.tourstage.com
