My father-in-law is from Japan, and everytime he comes over to play golf, he brings his own clubs. The driver is, iirc, a high cor TM. Maybe an R580XD. I'm still out driving him but just want to even up the field a little. TIA Vincent

January 9, 200520 yr comment_71993 Get a Hi Cor version of a head size/shape and shaft that you are comfortable with. TS Marus like in your signature generally are not easy to hit on the sweetspot.

January 10, 200520 yr comment_72009 Not sure the longest and most forgiving, it could be the Ping G2. It sure is not the MR-23 Maru driver, that's the least forgiving, though it is long.

I'd probably go with a high cor TM driver from Japan or a Japan only Tourstage driver. As for the Maru being least forgiving, that's the reason its for sale... :wah: Vincent

January 13, 200520 yr comment_72543 Agree on the "great pair"!!! A lot of great suggestions on the Drivers; however, get to a launch monitor or one of these golf shops with the "sim machine" as I call it and get the right Loft, and the correct Shaft.
