aflac,

Thanks for posting pictures. I live in Raleigh and have had Carolina Golf do several TM fw refinishes. They do excellent work.

My J340 also needs a refinish and after seeing yours...I will be taking mine down to Carolina Golf for the same job. The reason I haven't done it so far is that I hate to take it out of the bag!

The J340 with Fuji SIX is the best driver I've played...longer, better trajectory, solid sound that is not 'tinny'...

I'm not remotely interested in a 460cc head even with all the good feedback people have been leaving...since I found the J340.

One question...did the sw change after the refinish?

Besides this being the coolest J340 I have ever seen, these could be the best pics ever taken of this beautiful creature.

It almost looks better than mine and mine's brand new! Beautiful refinish job on the best damn driver out there. I second the comments above. I had a chance to hit 4 or 5 tour R7's with a bunch of rare Fujis, a couple of 580XD tours with Fujis and my 510TP with a 671 and the J340 smoked them all in looks, feel and performance. Simply no other driver out there like it.

The color looks outstanding...not exactly the teal head of the J340 but that blue might even look better. That's a great blue...was it a custom order?

If you don't mind me asking how much was the refinish and can you send them a whole club?

After a year of major ho'ing...the only thing that hasn't been constantly recycled is the J340. It's a great driver in every category.

JohnnyTN:

It wasn't a custom color. I asked him to match as close as possible. The original finish was slightly darker. The new finish, however, shows the metallic paint a bit better.

Bruinduke:

IIRC the refinish job was ~$50-60. Not sure if you can send him a whole club. I had my guy locally pull the shaft for $5. Probably saved me a bit of $$ on shipping, too.
