Allright, just got rid of my 10.5 TP because of lack of roll. Looking to find the next holy grail. I'm pretty high launch so I'll probably go back to an 8.5 to bring it down some. My recent drivers have all been TM tour( 2 300's and 2 TP's) but I think I want to step over the 400cc barrier and get the new technology advantage. So to recap, over 400cc's, set up neutral (no closed face models, open I can deal with), low launch, low spin, must be legal and must be deep faced (No HT shallow suggestions). Sorry this is starting to turn into a personal ad. Let's hear the suggestions. Thanks!

Um, Cleveland Launcher Comp  . But also try the Ashton X-1. $169, dead square, .335 hosel, and low spin.

Heard nothing but good things about this driver. As soon as I get my irons done, this club will be in the bag. I have too many .335 shafts collecting dust.

God Bless

Hey ya know what, I agree with slicktry, why not go with a component head and build your own lightsaber! I look at Alpha heads and Ashton heads, things that make you go hmmm.

Be a Jedi, build your own wallet, the one that says, "Bad mother f-er."

It seems to me the blade x460 perfectly fits your description. I have one on order with a rifle lite shaft, but if you want graphite you can get the diamana for 429 that is insane the shaft alone goes for around 300. I think it's 63 mm deep so it's real deep.

Chain by a new 2005 X Drive with a GD M65 stiff shaft in 9.5 deg.

Then you will get sick of that in a month and I will buy it back from you for half price LOL

Blade soundsl like a great deal especially with the diamana.

Cleveland 460 Comp is suppose to launch lower and is a cannon. :money:

Of the 05 models, I want the Cleveland Comp 460 or the Mizuno Mp-001 460 8.5* with either the Fuji Vista Pro 60 X, or the GD YS-7 X.

Cost no object; R7TP with Mitsubishi Diamana or GD Tour AD I65.

If you're looking for low launch and a lot of role, go with the Titleist 983E. I had one shafted with a stiff Graffaloy shaft and it hit low screamers. Too low for me. I switched to the K with an NVS xstiff and I've never felt a better driver. Great boring ball flight, no ballooning, with a good amount of roll. And I know where the ball is going, how about that... :smile1:
