I got this ball from the guy who took it from the "MAN" according to him.

If you see it carefully, this ball has 4 different size of hexagon dimples to it and on one of the size the dimple is slightly deeper. Through out the ball, it has 6 of this extra deeper dimples.

We were just talking about golf ball design in my aerodynamics course... I am forwarding on the pictures to my professor to see if he has any clue as to the advantages...

i have 2 or 3 dozen of them straight from the MAN's rep......super ball i love it..... :cool:

I read somewhere that the deeper dimples are designed to precisely position the core in the exact center of the ball. I can't remember which site it was on though. Call it old age.
