New Nippon iron shafts

Reply from my inquiry:

Thanks for your note. At this years PGA Show last month in Orlando, Nippon Shaft displayed 2 of our newest products. The NS Pro 1150GH .

These two shaft represent "bookends" to our current shaft line-up of 850, 950, and 1050. The 1150 is slightly heavier than the 1050, weighing in at an average of 118 grams with special counterbalance weight added in both the tip and the butt sections for a different balance and feel preferred by many stronger players. The NS Pro 750GH shaft bests our 850 shaft as being the world's lightest steel shaft. With a graphite pre-preg over-wrap in the butt diameter, the 750 not only plays great, but looks very chic. Both shafts will be available later this summer.

Look for the specs and more information on all our shafts when we unveil our new web-site, also coming this summer.

Best regards, Mark

Appreciations Mark! IMHO Nippon needs to clarify their shaft options and stop making letters to the same numbers. We are confused enough here in America. Please post clearly what the option are with the different shaft offerings. We love Nippon shafts but are mystified with the marketing process.

If you'll clarify your confusion a little for me I'll send them an email about it. :)

tsg4tch,

Have you personally dealt with Mark Pekarek?  I live in Chicago and was wondering about his work as a clubmaker.

I have not, 997777, but I'd bet Nippon didn't choose some hack to represent them here. ;)
