jack0428
Got to play 2 DFIs, 9.5* and 10.5*, one in Diamana 48gm, the other one in Strixx G 65gms. These babies are hot!!!!!!!!!!!!! The balls leave the face like a rocket, then set on cruise control and just fly forever. The trajectory is mid, true to the loft. I had problem getting the ball high with the 9.5* but perfect lunch angle of 14* with the 10.5*. The Diamana is only 48gms but the entire club feels heavy, a club that I can go after, not much twisting with the 4.2 torque. The only thing bad about this club is its sound at impact, it is like the old Titleist 975D, muted, like a "Thunnng" than a "Kiiuuung". But. 3 words... "BALL GO FAR!!!!" I am getting the 10.5* in Diamana.

offtheback
Is the DFi .830 cor or a plus model? 460cc I assume? where can these be ordered?
+TourSpecGolfer
I actually love the way the 975D feels! I have a 460cc 9.5 with the G shaft on order currently, I hit both the 395cc and 460cc models at the show into a net. The feel stands out on this club more of a muted thwock still not even close to as mute as the D. The 395cc version felt a little better IMO but i still went with the bigger 460cc size. Excited Yes very, I am hearing great things about this club and its going to be a tuff shoot out vs my CV Pro and DuO2 TR-X.

I am getting the 10.5* in Diamana. Have you gotten your DFI yet? I am about to get one with a Diamana S flex. Being so light do you think it can handle my 100-105 swingspeed with a little rough transition? I am getting it unseen and untested, the price just seems to good to pass up and the pics look good. Problem is they don't have the Ignite G option, just the 48 grammer Diamana. Let me know your feedback, and if you haven't received you club yet then try to give me a more detailed account of your testing with the club. Breal
These clubs look real good, but the only thing is there non-conforming. Bummer  but it should be a real good club, and with the good shaft options. Good luck on the driver and let us know how it works out. Diamana 48g S is waaay too soft for me. Hit it all over the place. I am going to reshaft with Fuji tour release 26.3 (60 gram range). The head is really beautiful. Perfect shape and size doesn't look too big at address. I'll let you guys know how it works with the new shaft. Jovi

pchua
I have mine 9.5* shafted with a Fuji MW54 S-Flex. Simply AWESOME club. The ball seems to run on energizer battery and just want to keeps going on and on. What else can i say, Nike equipments are getting better. I am just a social golfer so non-conforming does not concern me. All i am interested is hittig it straight and far...=) Cheers.
jick
Have one round in the bag with the Nike DFI 9.5* reshafted with Fuji Tour Release 26.3 S-flex. It is quite promising. My current driver is really a good fit for me, going long and straight. But after one round, I can say that this Nike carries just as far and rolls more. I noticed it goes farther into the wind also. So I'd say it is a lower spinning combo and goes just a bit farther. Sound is more of a titanium clubhead sound as opposed to the muted sound most are accustomed to from composite crown heads. jick
This driver is the real deal. It is perfect for areas like the Philippines that is under R&A regulations. I played a scramble tournament today and hit career longest drives with it using a Precept U-Tri Tour (a ball which I had previously considered as short). What I loved best about the driver was that is was very reasonable priced when compared to other Japanese drivers. Jovi
MGB
Glad you like the DFI, Jovi. Would've been surprised if you hadn't reshafted; Those superlight shafts just don't work with higher swing speeds. Me, I'm waiting for the R5 TP.

MGB
Will wait for retail R5 TP to hit market. It should be cheaper that the tour stuff going around now. Yes, I hit the DFI. I like the head, just can't abide by the shaft. 55 gram Diamana way to light and whippy for me. I really like the shape of the R5TP we've been seeing here. TM's drivers seem to work for me, the TP should have the right shaft out of the box.
