I noticed a pic of the soles of the mp-27's and they seem very similar to the soles of the x-tours. Has anybody actually seen both side-by-side? I am looking forward to trying the x-tours but the mp-27's might be a good competitor.[/img]

IMO the sole is much different. The X-Tour is more forgiving but doesnt feel even as close as good at impact.

From a resale perspective, The X-Tours will be cheap soon. The MP-27s will not be.

Both great clubs that you cant go wrong with.

I've seen and hit them both. I like the MP-27 much better. Nicer top line, and they do feel more solid on impact.

I would say the X-Tours are closer in feel and looks to the MX-23.
