November 27, 201212 yr yeah, he was in my ear all day at royal hawaiian yesterday! that course was like a tiger woods video game, cutting over jungle and playing specialty shots to target fairways..,all with 20mph+ winds. i've never seen a course with tighter fairways and landing zones the size of dimes!!
November 27, 201212 yr That looks pretty similar to Ko'olau, many blind approaches and forced lay-ups of the tees. Guessing you hit driver 2 or 3 times?
November 27, 201212 yr the fairways i missed were when i was trying to lay up or hit a normal drive that was too high for the strong winds and i made my ball donations to the jungle! i quickly realized i needed to keep my drives low. after that, the ryoma was like a laser and i hit it far more than anyone in their right mind should have. probably couldn't have done that with any other driver.
