March 23, 200520 yr Hello, I am tring to get together a weekly skins game at Sugarloaf Golf Club. Sugarloaf is located in Northeast PA 45 minutes from allentown and 30mins from Wilkes-Barre. This will be a weekly event most likely on Mon. evenings around 4. The match will be 18 holes individual skins scored and organized by the club. The fee is only 15 bucks for the round including the cart and scoring. To start the skins pot will be 15 per man, making it a 30 dollar entry fee for golf and cart. ALL skins money will be paid, and the pot will be increased if a mojority of players want it higher. Side bets will be encouraged. At the moment I have 6-10 players committed to this match and another 10-15 that will play occasionally. The event is NOT HANDICAPPED, so far the range of play is scratch to about a 8 hdc. but anyone is welcome :whistle: If interested please e-mail [email protected].

August 3, 200519 yr PhillyPete- Reading is a little SLOOOW> I have some insights on places to play as I used to travel there a lot. Galen Hall in Wernersville is a Tillinghast and a bargain. Very fast greens and in great shape when I was there. Eat dinner at the clubhouse great food and good prices. Filet with crab was great. A couple of quirky holes...number 2 especially, but overall a nice track especially for the money. Golden Oaks is very good and very close. Honeybrook closer to Lancaster but close is good. Glen Mills in Chester is not that far and good. Hickory Valley is pretty good. Hawk Valley. Dauphin highlands in Harrisburg, about 40 minutes is excellent. Just off the top of the head.

December 6, 200519 yr i am in ohio on the border of w.v. and penns...live less than an hour from Pittsburgh and go there often...this past summer there was a huge outing in Ohio with most of the guys coming from Ohio and a few from Penns. and W.V....we can make it a tri-state thing...i helped organize this through another golf forum site but i have played with guys from three different forums and we can always mix and match...the more the merrier!
