TSG Tennessee Chapter

good ole tennessee and its hicks with sticks

Tennessee, the place where Nascar is king and you can play golf in overalls. You gotta love it.

knoxville has a lot of nice courses, too bad down here in chattanooga, the only good courses are private. Gotta love when they put cars in the open at driving ranges

Here in my area I am lucky Zoj...within about 30-45 minute drive time I can play 6 really good courses. I am lucky they are public but I have been able to get onto Holston Hills in Knoxville and let me tell you it is nice. If you ever get the chance to play there do not pass it up.

Murfreesboro,

Home course- Old Fort. Dennis Griffiths redesign

Zojo, We've got several quality public tracks here in Middle Tenn.

Nashville also. Old Fort is my home course too.

We have 6 or 8 good public tracks here. There are some really good tracks in Knoxville also.

Moving to Clarksville (40 minutes NW of Nashville) august 8th. Anyone up there got any good course suggestions? My dad said he might try to sign up for the clarksville country club because its really cheap, and theres a public course called swan lake i think that not supposed to be too bad.

Clarksville Country Club would rank in my top 10 worse municiple courses I've ever played. No, 'municiple' was not a mistake. Not sure about Swan Lake, but Eastland Green is decent and you also need to check out the Links at Novadell in Hopkinsville.

Zojo, I live in Clarksville and there is not a course here I would claim as my home course. The CCC is a joke. You can play golf here but only in the loosest sense of the word. Ft. Campbell is a decent. You have to go to Nashville to buy anything remotely golf related. It sucks here. GO TO Nashville!!!

Hello to all Tennesseeans, I will be heading back to school in mid-august so if anyone want to go for a round please p.m. me or e-mail at [email protected]. If there is a member on this forum of Belle Meade that could possibly give me information on holding an event there, it would be much appreciated by members of Sigma Phi Epsilon and we will make sure to compensate and hold ourselves to the highest standards. Thanks in advance.
