Anyone know the difference in the 2 GD shafts? Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Specs are below, in summary, the YS6+ is 2g heavier, different color scheme, but the others specs are the same. I was told by my Nakashima rep in Orange County that they perform the same on the shaft tester and that is was mainly a marketing change for Graphite Design to sell more shafts. I used the YS-6 in my Titleist 983K and put the YS-6+ in my new 905T and have similar performance. I can't say they are exactly the same since the heat of the 905T is different so any performance gain may be from the head.

Shaft Flex Weight Torque Kickpoint

YS-6+ R 65g 3.5 MID

YS-6+ S 66g 3.5 MID

YS-6+ X 67g 3.5 MID

YS-6 R 63g 3.5 MID

YS-6 S 64g 3.5 MID

YS-6 X 65g 3.5 MID

Hope this helps.

Appreciate the input. I tried the new 905T with the ys-6+ also. I had a tighter dispersion on a launch monitor with it, in comparison to my 983k ys-6 combo. Didn't know if it was shaft, clubhead, or both.

I thought that I would never find a better club than the 983K with the YS-6, I was wrong! The 905T with the YS-6+ is even better!
