I played both Z-Star balls. The X is very long, but very hard. IMO, the regular Z-Star is similar to Pro V1X, and the X version is way beyond anything I've tried. Both versions spin very little, and are quite durable.

Man I LOVE the black and gold color combo. I had a bike when I was like 6 with the same color combo, still love it!

I bought some JDM Scottys off of PutterMonster back in the day. I prefer the 34" length. Anyone know of how to get some now, without paying an arm and a leg? Thanks in advance.

Very Nicely Done! It's amazing what some seemingly simple changes do to the appearance of clubs. The mere paintfill difference is unreal.

I kinda like the different paintfill, but agree they look like the older USDM TP CB's. If they are anything like the MB TP's but with more forgiveness than I think they (TM Japan) have a winner on their hands. I have only played the USDM MB TP's, but really liked them. Wanted a little more forgiveness, so now I play the Cally X-forgeds.

I thought the Roma Ro designs looked awfully similar.

Anyone see the new Odyssey putters? I saw a prototype and the face has a milled insert with horizontal lines similar to the G-Field Premium Zone anser style putters. I immediately thought, what a coincidence. There are no tungsten plugs in the face, but the back half of the putter near the flange is made of tungsten.

You won't be disappointed once you try a Gauge. I took the blind leap of faith and couldn't be happier. Although my putting is horrendous I still switch it up, but always come back to the Gauge.

That's good stuff. And here I thought the TSG grips were the ant's pants. What's the benefit of the "dimple" in the sole of a wedge?

How did you remove the color, or was it custom

I think it's apparent in simple weather fluctuations over the past few years. Un-Scientifically speaking, summers here in the OC have been markedly more humid than in any of my previous 30 summers. Also I believe NY has yet to have a day of snow this winter. I'm not a meteorologist, just my 2 cents.

I just tried this putter out at the local shop. I came away impressed. Quality seemed on par with SC. Overall weight seemed heavy like a Heavy Putter. You still knew where the head was with feedback. The feel was closer to a SC PP in crispness than say a red X. I tried the anser type putter, and was money from five feet. But you all know how putts in the store and on the course differ so much. I think I might give the swoosh a try. Plus the Golf Digest write up wasn't all too bad. Please chime in and give your 2 cents.

I am assuming, but want to be positive are the Epon type-s and pro II the same clubs? And anyone who has played epon irons how would you describe the soles & offset of the irons? like a blade? compact? shallow? deep? or something else?? I am just trying to decide on which to get and see what's the latest offerings. No use in fixing my club ho itch if something new is gonna come out. Gratitude in advance for any info or advice. I currently play rac tp mb irons with rifle 5.5's, more of a swinger than a hitter, with shallow divots, 7-iron = 155-160 yards. Thanks once again!
