  1. Does anyone have firsthand experience with the Gran Z's? A local shop has some, so I was wondering if I should take the leap of faith. I read some of the other posts, however no one seems to have actually played it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I currently play the Pro-V's and Bridgestone B330-S's.
  2. Hilarious, is that kinda like the tingling spidey sense? I surely know the "ho" temptation :tsg_smilie_money3:
  3. Not Chris, but according to the Epon site the loft is 46 degrees.
  4. Anyone know the thinking behind the Epon HG wedge design? Benefits? Thoughts? The first thing I thought of was the Black Widow wedge... I know totally wrong thinking, but at first glance.
  5. There is no difference, as Chris stated earlier it's just cosmetic. Something like older pictures used on the website, and now they are called Type-J not Pro I. Unless you live in Japan I'm almost positive you cannot order from Epon directly; also the price doesn't include the tax similar to the VAT. Hope this helps
  6. Chris what else can be customized? Thanks in advance & Happy Fourth of July to all of TSG!
  7. How are these different from the USDM stuff?
  8. Great ideas from everyone, I might have to do some rethinking on my dream putter.
  9. what would it be like? Any combination, feature, color, material, etc. I personally would love to have a GD One with two tungsten inserts to give it some more heft; and instead of a plumbers neck have a slant neck. I already love the color and the face and shape and material. Maybe just a tad shorter by 1/2 an inch. If Chris could make that happen I would be in heaven. :tsg_smilie_cool: Everyone please chime in, it's great to see what others' perception of perfection is.
  10. Chris or anyone, is there any recent news on the Athlete zone putters by G-Field? I would love to know when they are due to arrive, more specifically the Leap-M in blue. Thanks in advance. PS What's the deal is with the upside down "4" logo??? I still love the plain 'ol calipers
  11. I like to think of putters like cars; they all four wheels and take you from point a to b. But they're different types sports cars, suvs, trucks, sedans, etc. Likewise with putters mallet, blades, neo mallet, ansers, etc.; they all help you put the ball in the hole. I tend to hold aesthetics in high regard as well as perceived quality. I like Scopy Camerons and Gauge Putters. I would love to find a Ping that worked for me as I love the "Ping" sound, but have yet to find one that suits my eye and feel. In the end you just test drive a few and usually one sticks out and that's the keeper.
  12. Man Chris, those are sharp looking tools of the game. :tsg_smilie_cool: If I ever find my swing I would love to try the 900MD's. Where are those forged? Is PRGR still making everything in Japan?
  13. Sounds intriguing will definitely have to try these out. I've always wondered why golfballs haven't migrated earlier to the States from Japan like some other golf clubs. It's interesting to note that all the major Japanese Golf co.'s are Tire ones.
  14. Frickin Hilarious!! Thanks for putting the link up; I forwarded it to all my friends and for the next few days that's all we could talk about. I wish my tears could cure cancer.
  15. Bummer for Carson Palmer. I would have liked to see him play at least a half. I think the it's going to be a rematch of two years ago: Panthers and the Patsies. I love the Colts but I have this gut feeling that New England is gonna beat Denver and upset Indy. BTW who's gonna be the Jets coach in 2010? J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets! Jets!
  16. The XL reminds me of the Caliente putter from a few years back. That Circa putter is funky, I wonder how it putts. :tsg_smilie_confused:
  17. I like the looks of the Gauge NC-1's more. I just can't get over the "G" logo, I guess because I prefer the calipers Plus I have a set of the Gauge and not the G-Field. But I do like the milling marks in the cavity, nice change up.
  18. Is the face square on that driver? I am definitely interested, and eagerly await Chris' review. Great pics of the cut aways and cross-sections. :tsg_smilie_money3:
  19. The sole reminds me some of the older irons, in which there seems to not be much camber. Initially my thoughts were: looks wise it reminded me of the Gauge MB2. Don't know why. Just my 2 cents. Happy New Year!
  20. WOW!!! Great lookin pics of some great new stuff, as always from Chris. I think I might have to adjust my budget for this new year. :tsg_smilie_money3: The view of the driver from the top looks clean and sleek, my personal preference. I also dig on the "V" formed on the face from the lines.
  21. Have to agree with you on that one. Callaways tend to have a muted feel that leaves something to be desired. Looks nicer than any Callaway.
  22. Are those both neutral drivers? Just wondering, does that mean a closed or open face?
  23. Lance99 replied to matt411's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Baimo, how do you like the insert? Have you tried any other Gauge putters without an insert, if so any differences? Thanks in advance. :tsg_smilie_smile:
  24. The new G-Field 1W sounds real interesting. Already a big fan of GD putters & irons. Also always liked the Titleist drivers so the new 905R is exciting.
  25. Please disregard the above post. My Bad!!!
