Posted June 5, 200519 yr comment_96326 The new 2005 Eldik Ace has just been released, It is the most refined version of the eldik ever. It features a plumbers neck and a hollowish body and overall performs very much like the 2-ball yet with a more satisfying feel and optimal alignment.
June 6, 200519 yr comment_96451 I don't think I could ever get used to the eldik, eve though that looks pretty nice
June 12, 200519 yr comment_97146 Yuk... I'm used to a bullseye blade and that thing looks mammoth!!! Hey its how many, not how, right...
June 12, 200519 yr Author comment_97159 How much does this guy run? I love the pumbers neck hosel! 250.oo shipped sir better than the eldik-m? To each is own, this is what I would call similar to the 2-ball while the Eldik M is similar to the Futura or Phantom Futura. Yuk... I'm used to a bullseye blade and that thing looks mammoth!!! Hey its how many, not how, right... Not that big really about the same size as the 2-ball, Its the camera on magnify that makes it look large.
July 2, 200519 yr comment_98588 Anyone played with this yet? How about the Eldik N? Thoughts? I am considering purchasing one...
July 3, 200519 yr comment_98595 Personally, I really like this putter. I got it here a few weeks ago... It has an "anser" look with the balance of a mallet. The ball seems to start rolling right away, with little to no skidding. I would describe the feel as firm (not too hard and not too soft) and solid. IMHO, this is a great putter for those who perfer the look of an "anser" style putter, but enjoy the balance and MOI of a mallet/neo-mallet. I Do have two questions: 1. Is the face of this putter an insert? 2. Where did Gauge Design Japan get the name "Eldik"? A friend of mine joked that the name "Eldik" was in response to the "2-ball"...(Groan...) But now I'm curious. BTW, a big "THANK YOU" to Chris for supplying the best golf stuff ever! :smile1: :gauge: :gauge: :gauge:
July 3, 200519 yr comment_98596 Does if feel crisp? or "insert feeling"? Also how is the weight? I am nervous it will be too light with the cutout back... Thanks!

July 3, 200519 yr comment_98607 Does if feel crisp? or "insert feeling"? Also how is the weight? I am nervous it will be too light with the cutout back... Thanks! IMO, it feels crisp. It doesn't feel like an insert to me at all... As for the weight, it doesn't feel particularly heavy, just a nice balance overall. I believe the headweight is actually 345 g. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong) BTW, I should let you know that I cut this putter down to 32 1/2 in., so my thoughts about the weight might be off... However, I do remember that it didn't feel too light before I cut it, and it doesn't feel too light now. I hope this helps...
July 3, 200519 yr comment_98608 the face of that putter looks awesome.......is this face similar to that on the balde??
July 4, 200519 yr comment_98667 the face of that putter looks awesome.......is this face similar to that on the balde?? I've never seen a balde up close, but I think they're the same (or at least similar) based on the pictures...
July 7, 200519 yr comment_98826 Do these come with a headcover? When I got my putter from TSG, it came with a headcover...
