For those debating what AXIV shaft to get, here's just some info from my installation. Got a 6564M (SR flex), tipped it an inch and installed it in my X-Drive 405. I believe it's a 2 inch bore. CPM is 240... So I think it best not to get too confused by their CPM ratings on the shaft and just go with your normal flex - i.e R, SR, S, X. If I like the shaft I'll definitely have to go with a 6568M. I haven't actually played the club yet but it does feel whippy on waggling. Hope this helps.

Tai, thanks for that information. I think that most people are overwhelmed when trying to figure out this shaft. Could you give us some of your swing characteristics like speed, how aggressive and your overall strength? Also, what is a typical miss look like.

I agree and I think they should just stick to the flex rating rather than the CPM. I swing at 105-110, smooth tempo, not too agressive (when swinging well I've been compared to Els! lol - gets real choppy when not swinging well...), 8 handicap, stocky build. Typical missed would be push fades with an occasional snap hook.

Got the shaft on TSG.

Swing speed mid 90's with relatively quick transition. 7 iron yardage 152-155 yds. Currently playing an NV 65 R. I am looking for a mid (to high) launch shaft in the 60g range. Any suggestions? The CPM's seem high by the flex. Thanks. :whistle:

May I suggest a Tourstage X-Drive 405HR w/ AXIV 6564M (SR flex) CPM at 240? :laugh: All kidding aside it may be just what you're looking for. Let me know.

I had been using G1 Golf for a long time. Their clubmaker who recently left was unbelievable. Never seen work as good as his. He went to a shop in Macau but is now back in HK. He will again be doing work for me from now on but we have to sort out the logistics of where. If we manage to get a system going, i'll let you know.

Otherwise, IYG and Central Golf should be good enough in the meantime.

Thanks in advance!I tried IYG, I'm one of the early customer,David worked my club,I'm his early experiment I guessed.Never been to Central Golf.

Is Frankie still work at G1?I'm sure he is good ,though I never try his work.I ran into him several time at the driving range ,well B4 his club making days.He was a very powerful driver,not very accurate I afraid.

Franki's knowledge on club making is amongst the best I've come across in Hong Kong. He has my trust.

On the subject of clubmaking and clubfitting in Hong Kong, my trust is with IYGL as all of the staff are PCS certified. In fact, a number of the guys working elsewhere now are products of IYGL as David Llyod was extremely generous in supporting his staff to get the right qualifications. Franki did his exams via IYGL (although he was never a staff there) so this shop is still my #1 when it comes to clubfitting....

Before anyone slam me for what I've just said :punch: , I'd like to clarify that I have no interest in the shop.....
