freaknasty
Frank Thomas says to putt your best you need a face - balanced putter. But Tiger and Ernie and a bunch of others who use Camerons (plumbers neck) are usually toe down. So does it really matter that much?
MrParr1noid
It only matters if you can't putt as well as Tiger or Ernie. I'm good :tired: I can putt with anything  But putting with a face balanced putter has made me just awesome. I'm just like most on here, I can make a putt once in awhile but not on a consistant basis, I'd guess that's why I'm still a 14 handicap. In all honestly, my BG GT face balanced putted has really helped, and that helps my confidence also. Win Win situation.
ShreveportGolf
I believe it really depends on the type of stroke. Face balanced putters work well for guys who like to stroke the putter on a straight line back and through, mostly left hand low, (like Pelz teaches or prefers). People who stroke more naturally, going slightly to the inside back and through as the stroke gets longer tend to like putters with toe hang. Some of this can be preference as well. Remeber that I am speaking in generalities here. Paul
