aussiefreddy
One of my best mates just gave me this driver he got this from the tour a couple of years ago. I tried this shaft and its awesome it's fitted on a R320 tour head. I was wondering if you guys knew what type of shaft it is. He told me its one of the early issue Mitsubishi Rayon shafts for the tour. It definitely looks like a Rayon because of the slight chrome finish I have never hit a smoother shaft than this could it be a Diamana or a Shaq? I was thinking of either putting it on my Launcher 400 or Mp001 any suggestions on which head I should put it in?

Its not from the Tour  Its a stock Japan shaft for slower swingers, High Torque and fairly old. Id value it at under 10 bucks but if it works for you swing it! MGB
Looks like the stock shaft on the Japanese R5 series. They had two shafts in those, this one and one that said "Tour" instead of "Ultralite". "Tour" shafts were made by Fuji. I think the "Ultralite" was OEM Mitsu Rayon. xxio
IIRC the Mitsubishis (2 or 3 models available as stock) used by TM were the Lightning and the Lightning Tour Series. These shafts were very good considering the weren't as $$$ most of the other Mitsu offerings.

He rated the stiffness as Stiff to Extra Stiff with my swing I would rate it on the stiff side.
