I have yet to test the new Tourstage X-ST but im going to get one anyway. I can strongly suggest with confidence the Mizuno UX2. The U.S version CLK is made in China while the Japanese UX2 is made in Japan, the differences are night and day and you can tell by just looking at it or bouncing a ball off of its face, this is by far the best UT I have ever hit so im sticking with it. I play mine with the NS.950 shaft in 20* and it flys about 215 straight, i have tried it with graphite and didn't have as good results in regards to accuraccy. This is one club I swear by, I also have the ViQ U5 its great but has a graphite shaft attached and I need to put an NS 750 in it to get the accuracy i desire.

Well if you want an f-st, i should be selling mine shortly cause i just ordered an x-st. pm me. as far as hybrids go, i'd go with the Tourstage. ViQ, or even the F-UT. Chris will def hook you up.

What is the tip diameter of the Mizuno UX2?

Dont know to be honest, I would guess the same as most hybrids on the market.

I'm pretty sure it would be .355" taper. I think the Nippon shafts only come in taper, unless something has changed with them in the last several months.

I have the ux2, and all I can say is that it's solid in every way. I have the 3, and it's good for 220, and straight as an arrow. For the fairway, I just love my gauge gaf1 with nippon 950. I got it tipped to play like the 1050 by JK, and I couldn't be happier the only thing that comes close is my set of 1-4 heavenwoods that were built by JK so that the 1/2 play like fw.
