looks funky! but could never see it in my bag! to be honest im not sold on the whole milled face idea! any stuff i have had with a milled face ends up wearing very fast....therefeore the benefits dont last too long!

maybe ive just had a bad experience!....whats the craic with the whole new cavity back sand/lob wedge look?

i've got 3 in the bag now, CG11 588t wedges. when i was going through the Taylor Made to Cleveland change the guys on the tour van talked me into trying the proto's of them & i love them, the only thing that sucks about these wedges is it took extensive grinding & a day wasted at the range to get them perfect & with no CG badge in the cavity the weight was too light whicg caused me to toss a ton of lead tape in the middle of the 58, but dont mind it b/c it brings the flight down. all in all i didnt like these wedges but after hitting them thats all the talking into i need, glad the guys on the Cleveland van threw them on me.

I much prefer them without the badging. Interesting to see how they play. Still convinced that the Solus and RAC TP wedges are superior. And yes, that is coming from someone who will defend Cleveland to no end!

God Bless

homez proof is always in the pudding....if they work for ya stick to them!!!

yea, they look like a cavity back & didnt like it, but without the badge it saves from drilling into the sole to relieve weight to get lead tape in the middle of the head to get a lower flight. this way we just built it, ground the sole to my liking, weighted it lighter & went back to the trusty lead tape!

the cavity sopposidly frees up weight to re-distribute which makes these wedge's more stable at impact. to tell you the truth i am only using them because they are the same shape of the 588 & it saves from drilling holes in the flange. not to mention we went through a few too many getting the grinds right, so when we got them perfect they went in the bag.
