First came the GiAnT drivers.....Now the GiAnT putters!

We all pretty much tripped out when the first 380cc+ drivers were introduced into the market about 4 years ago. I used to hear "Wow that thing looks like a Volkswagon beetle on a stick" and all kinds of comments. Has anyone heard the one " If you miss with that thing you should quit golf"?...now all the top players use them and the ones who use small headed drivers are the new minority.

Enter the Gauge Japan NeO BLaDE! It is 4 times the size of your average anser putter. See them tungsten ingots? those are the big ones that we see in the M-Series mallets and most of the other gauge putters! yup this thing is that big. Wanna know something even more funny, This "thing" has knocked "The One" straight out of the bag. While testing on the putting range I noticed on flat ground its dumb easy to get the ball rolling straight, I'm talking dead straight. With my loose grip the head felt quite heavy and just goes back and through with no effort. How did they get it to 360 grams with 6 20 gram tungsten ingots? Its hollow! It gives of this hollow "tink" sound that is the exact opposite of what I love about the balde, one, and all the other 3RTNC faced putters. If your into anser putters but cant get used to Neo Mallets try the NeO BLaDE if you can get one. Its an anser with all the answers... well for me it has been anyway :smile2:

Dont let the images fool you! this putter is a lot bigger than the pics show!

i've seen this before but had no idea it was that big!!! you just can't tell from the pics. i think i read somewhere Shingo uses this. is this true chris?

btw. beautiful villa :money:

Spot On! Yup Shingo uses this putter! I dont blame him, it changes the game of putting, we play a game called straight putt using that putting peg gadget and I hit 17 of 25 twenty footers to win a whopping 4 bucks! I will post comparisson images next to "the balde" in a couple days or so.

 Me three boys! Any idea where the castle is?

Chris, understand the putter is BIG, however what is more impressive is just how quickly it knocked the one outa your bag.

Looking forward to the comparitive pics!

 Well "Yes Sir" Seem to remember Nicklaus winning the 1986 Masters, with a big McGregor putter.

That eagle put on 15, Sunday afternoon is one of the most famous shots in golf.

I think this putter is worthy of investigation.

Chris have you received your invitation for next years Masters?

That is a huge putter! Alcap, I think it's MacGregor putter from mid 80's that Jack Nicklaus used to win '86 Masters. I forgot the name of it too. Like a ho that I still am, I did use that putter back then, very easy to make long putts too.

I remember the Macgregor one but I could swear Titleist also made one and for some reason I remember it having a cross-hair on it. I may be wrong though.
