+TourSpecGolfer
HELP! I've been looking for info on the XDrive but all info on the web are written in Japanese. Would appreciate any info or first hand experience on the driver. Thanks, Its a solid driver and IMO better than anything released by Bridgestone currently. It has a square face and plays true to loft, it is USGA conforming, and at impact feels awesome. I would suggest waiting for the 435cc version coming december. You can pre order it in the catalog now to insure you get the first batch.
alohano
It is one of the longest, most powerful drivers I have ever hit...in the HR version with a Tour AD M-65. I borrowed a friend's, who was here from Japan. If you don't care, get the HR version. That said, I do believe you need to be a pretty good player to begin with. It's 405 CC's. mrzodia
Over all it's a really solid driver. Inorder to really expose it's great capabilities, you must be a fairly decent ball striker. When you do hit it good, you can really see why this is such a solid driver. The speed it comes off the face is unbelieveable. Distance and carry is awesome. Put in a Mamiya Axiv, and you got a winner. Liked it much better than the M-65, which is not at all a terrible shaft, just not for me. Cosmetically it's a beauty, except for the headcover which provides minimal protection. I highly suggest this for the mid-low handicapper due to the forgiveness factor. Never tried it with the TXD-70, but i can imagine it's a deadly combo. Any reviews btw?
