+TourSpecGolfer
So far we don't know the exactly the full lineup of what is to come by RC in 2006. Here is what we do know is coming: - Royal Collection C.V pro Type H2 - Royal Collection CV 101 CB Irons - Royal Collection Forged Tour wedges CV101 Irons: These Irons were first seen almost 2 years ago at the Tokyo golf fair, I have no idea what the delay was but they are now scheduled to be released in early 2006. Forged Tour Wedges: About 6 months ago we saw the RC Tour forged Wedge in JPGA players bags , many in the U.S have seen the same thing in a sonartec version released in limited numbers on ebay in recent. RC has scratched that style for a new one that is more versatile for the average player and course conditions. From what I hear RC is really getting into forged wedge grinding for their tour players. The retail stuff along with the rest of their product is still made in China though.
plus1
great pics chris! The irons look as though they were based on the same style as the mr23s. Which would have made sense since you seen them 2 years ago. But dont you think that style or look of player cb is tiring? Wedges look very tasty! any ides on the face and groove technology they are using? ie milled face? square grooves? etc

master
The Cv101 iron is already selling in limited quantity in Hong Kong & Thialand. The design is very similar to the SFI irons. I have bought a set, played several rounds with it & am not sure of it. My present set of irons is Gauge NC1 with NS Pro 1150 shafts. CV101 comes with NS Pro 950. The feel is crisply soft, with less feedback than the NC1, I haven't bothered to check the loft but this iron does hit far, so give me some problem in dialing in. It is quite forgiving but I feel not as forgiving as the NC1. Ball flight is a little high, this may due to the shafts rather than the iron itself. Finishing is first class & it is beautifully made. However, as a player irons?, I think the let down is the feel although I am coming from the perspective of a NC1 user (also owned MR23 CB, TS201, MP32, Miura CB 201), the feel is not hard but very similar to Miura, which is not my peference. It gives you less information than the NC1. I may need to give some more time to this set of irons befor deciding what to do with it.
