Phillip Alexander
:tsg_smiley_yes: Well Chris, I know I'm jumping the gun on this one, however most of us now use a utility. In my view this is pretty much the ultimate comparison. Perhaps throw in the 320. Your views would be appreciated.
plus1
in my opinion the prgr 320 takes the cup, however i am yet to try the beautility!
+TourSpecGolfer
For my swing the Mizuno UX2 with NS850 has dominated the bag for quite a while, I have had the older ViQ UT's, they get up easy and land soft with that great turbo rubber feel. The 320CX is better made than all three IMO but didn't perform as well as the UX2, It too was easy to get airborne like the ViQ as well as felt incredible off the face. Performance would have to come down to your shaft selected, NS850 provides a mid/low trajectory for me with increased accuracy over any graphite shaft. You could select any of these 3 UT clubs and be very happy provided you put a shaft you know that works for you in it. I have not hit the new G-Field UT or new ViQ yet. Dicksy
I have tried the TM range, and at present have a UX2 and a CLK. Personally I don't really feel any significant difference in these two weapons. I have a NSPro 950 in the UX2 and a NV85 in the CLK. Think I prefer the steel shaft. I also tried a Banzai in my UX2 and took it out quickly, horrible flight and distance. But, hey, we're all different and what suits me may be awful for someone else. Really love them both
dorkman53
I'm very high on the MP UX 2's that Chris sold me. Solid, hot feeling, easy to hit, accurate, versatile, and forgiving. Other than that, not much to talk about....... They've knocked my beloved Hogan hybrids out of the bag for good. The longer I play them, the better I like them. Edited December 17, 2005 by dorkman53
acrazygolfer
Now I'm interested in dropping the 60* and to replace it with a "utility" to fill-in the gap between the 220i and the 3-wood.
yardbeatles
I have had the CLK and it quickly got replaced the first time i hit the Sonartec MD (19'). The Sonartec has a rock solid feel, good solid sound, wants to go straight but can be bent both ways, and gives me the ball flight i'm looking for from 220-240 out. It really is weapon on the par fives and compliments my 13' T-60 FW nicely.
