scraper
Stan Utley is getting a lot of good press as of late. It is rumored that he has a instructional book in the works, but as of now not too many details about his teaching.

jeffy
I saw Utley in March of 2004. His approach is a lot more natural than Pelz and flows more easily from the full swing. Sadly, his fee is now $1,500 for 3 hours (minimum). He was good, but not that good! I also hear he has a book in the works. I'm not really sure how well what he teaches will transfer to the written page, though: some of his set-ups are so extreme that I found he needs to put you in position for you to understand exactly what he wants you to do. Lynn Blake. lynnblakegolf.com Dougf: Did he work on your short game? I went to the 3 day school in Canton and Lynn worked on my game also. He is a great instructor and will be bringing out a Short game DVD which he is making with VJ Trolio the inventor of the putting arc. Here in this video series they talk about Lob and Cut shots http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/forum/vba_ind...wse_images&g=26 You may have to log on here first to see them http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/
sdnick
Any great experience with a short game instructor, we all know of Pelz but who else is making this part of the game work ?JET Jim Flick. Saw him in Scottsdale over a year ago, his methods and thoughts on the golf swing opened a new door in the game of golf for me. Class act , and for a top 10 teacher with the number one boy and girl juniors in the country under his tutelage, his rates are truely a steal. Runyan's had a unique approach, but maybe the best short game to ever play the PGA Tour.
