January 22, 200619 yr comment_113781 The driver looks great. Can't wait to hear what you think about it. Where can I get grips like that? Those are sweet.
January 23, 200619 yr comment_113826 Man, that is one high tech looking driver! Can't wait to hear the feedback on it.
January 26, 200619 yr Author comment_114051 Is this the same as which Ai uses?? Yes Ai Miyazato is currently using this driver with a Diamana S-63!
February 6, 200619 yr comment_114909 just curious, but why did Tourstage go from a 450cc head in the V1 to a 430cc head in the V2?
February 6, 200619 yr Author comment_114916 just curious, but why did Tourstage go from a 450cc head in the V1 to a 430cc head in the V2? I don't know to be honest, I'm testing this driver now and the feel at impact is beyond out of this world, its profile is more pear shape than the 450 yet it doesn't look much smaller. It was designed for the player that needs more forgiveness than the X-Drive provides.

February 24, 200618 yr comment_115926 This is quite simply a stunning piece of golf equipment. The pear shape at address is an absolute classic. The address photo of this club really resembles the old McGregor Eye-O-Matics. You would think with all the marvelous engineering going into golf equipment, more manufacturers would be able to come up with the goods!! I'm going to make the positive comment and say congratulations to Tourstage. This to me is an absolute winner. Chris on the basis of your comment on feel of this club, I simply can't wait for a more detailed review!! STUNNING :tsg_smilie_cool: STUNNING :tsg_smilie_cool: STUNNING :tsg_smilie_cool: Phil likes it!!!
March 28, 200618 yr comment_117950 Chris; Did you or others ever hit this club enough to write a review?
May 12, 200618 yr comment_120290 I just stopped by a local retail/used club shop and saw a couple of these sitting high on top of a rack, still shrinked wrapped...after having read some of the previous reviews I caved in and bought a 10.5 degree...ran over to a friend of mine who reshafted it with a Diamana red 63...club looks awesome... Will play with it tomorrow and see how it performs...hope it feels as good as Chris mentioned earlier...
May 13, 200618 yr comment_120293 :tsg_smilie_confused: Anyone with any ideas of the head weight of the VIQ 2??
May 17, 200618 yr comment_120470 :tsg_smilie_confused: Anyone with any ideas of the head weight of the VIQ 2?? Its very light ~190g stock shaft is 50g,the shaft will play much stiffer and light SW
May 17, 200618 yr comment_120490 This driver is the full package. I'd love to try it sometime, but I'd have to go to Japan to get the demo for TourStage products. Hopefully someday TourStage will expand into North America, but then I think it would lose it's import touch that makes it so good.
May 18, 200618 yr comment_120523 My Mamiya Axiv shaft just arrived today...I will be putting it into the ViQ2 driver head I have and will test it out in a few days...I will let you all now how it feels...
June 8, 200618 yr comment_121177 I've been using this for 3 weeks now, what I have is the HT, SR flex stock shaft. I have to agree, the feel and feedback is very good, somehow the weighting system used makes it extremely easy to square the club face and encourages a faster swing speed. Since the clubs are usga & r&a sle conforming, I thought that I would lose some distance since the 'trampoline' effect will be severely reduced, to my disbelief, I'm hitting it at the same distances that I reach when i was using my non-conforming driver, and much straighter too. I'll update you guys on my actual experiences with this driver. So far, sooooooo good!

June 25, 200618 yr Author comment_121737 That was many drivers ago, :tsg_smilie_whistle: I do have 3 9.5 heads with any axiv shaft for sale at a discount price coming quite soon. As I remember feel was excellent, could be one of the best for its size. Distance on par with most others on the market, stock shaft was a bit soft but aided the slicer quite a bit, If you put say a PT-6 in it sky is the limit. Sorry for the poor report, I almost forgot what this club was like with all the recent tests im trying to cover.
