plus1
What is the difference between those mizuno lines? which series are made in japan? is Jpx their top line? thanks Andy all i know is that the JPX range is definately japan only.....as far as i am concerned comparing the quality of the JPX range with the us range, the JPX kicks ass. i own a jpx three wood that is a rocket launcher! feel and performance is top notch, whereas the mizuno us wood range imo is terrible! Phillip Alexander
Hey plus 1, PA here. I have finally changed to my nick name "Jack lives here". I have an incurable problem with the consumption of Jack Daniels, however that is another story. Man, I didn't realise just how good those JPX fairway woods look until I saw a photo posted on the site from the Japan golf fair. The fact that the JPX is in YOUR bag speaks volumes for the product. Hey, how's those new Muira irons going. How would you compare them to the Gauge MB2s?

How would you compare them to the Gauge MB2s? cool, i thought it was you lol! jpx fw is awesome, very high quality in my opinion. i have just got in the g field 3 wood which im testing and liking....so il let you know which one is staying! miura irons are already sold! the feel lout of them was great, much firmer than the gauge ....it was a real crisp strike. but all in all the gauge dampin vibrations, are more forgiving and are more suited to my eye! i have the nc1 g field coming now also so there is another set of gd to compare lol :tsg_smilie_cool:

The MP line is Mizuno's "player" line, the MX their game improvement line and the JPX their high end executive line in Asia. The reason it doesn't make it to the US is the price point. Hope that helps. :tsg_smilie_smile:

The JPXs and the MX-23 couldn't be further apart price wise. Also the flex profile of the JPX shafts are softer than the rest of the line since they target an older, more affluent market. So besides what you want to spend, it also depends on your swing.
+TourSpecGolfer
They are all sweet iron sets, Most of you have already seen the MP and MX line. I would like to mention that the JPX Series has thin top lines and the most noticeable difference is it offset. Just as the S30 power blade and other old school Mizuno premium cbs had in the past. The MP line is a complete forged head with no inserts or advanced technology besides its beautiful design. Less forgiving compared to MX and JPX yet a more rewarding feel when strike pure are its two biggest attributes.

Chris, when you say the JPX has the most noticable difference in offset, do you mean more offset than the MX and less offset than the MP lines?
