Has anyone tried out this combo?

I own the individual elements but have yet to combine them. I wonder if this would be a case of two great tastes that taste great together…

The HiBore in Japan comes stock with an Axiv shaft, thats all i know havent tried that one.

I have hit the hibore with a Fuji Tour platform as well as the Japan spec with this red axiv in the pic above. IMHO the hibore is not a distance club, but i must give it credit, its forgiving and straight. the axiv version was by far longer and felt quite a bit smoother.

I hit the US retail HiBore yesterday and: (1) I can't get over the pooper-scooper head shape; and (2) high ball flight. The Srixon 505 is better ... but then it was shafted with an Axiv.

I now have a 10.5 Hi-Bore with a 6564M and it is a missile pad. It’s certainly not the longest driver I’ve ever played, but it is among the straightest. Very easy to work.

Almost makes you want to carry two drivers. Wait a minute...
