May 28, 200619 yr I find this whole "squashed" look ala the Hi-Bore very interesting... Cleveland started it (actually brought it back into vogue) with the Halo... then came the Ping Hybrid... then the Hi-Bore.. and now Fourteen ... there must be something to this design, but I can't figure it... I hated the HiBore though the science seems to make sense....
May 28, 200619 yr I like the looks. The golf business reminds me of the fashion industry..somebody makes a change and everybody follows. A lot like watching 3rd graders play soccer( or swarm soccer) the balls squirts out of the mass of kids, 1 kid tears after it and the swarm follows!
May 28, 200619 yr My view is the sole and the face look class. Don't like the hi-bore concept in general. I think it cheapens a good looking club. Just my 2 cents worth.
