AKFLY
Right On ! I want to hear about all the s**t that goes on - remeber 15 years of marriage - I have a picture of my right hand in my wallet - just kidding Going with the girlfriend on company sponsored and paid for  trips so it probably won't get that wild. I'll try to sneak a few pics for the pin-up thread, tastefully done of course 8O . Nobody ever answered my post about golf at either place so I'll have to bump it. I know Cancun has a RTJ course but it's just over 6,000 yards. My girlfriend will eat my lunch on that bad boy. :D I'll just have to make sure she drinks a hole lot during the round Tell her if she wins she has to smoke your cuban  :D :D Sounds like a great trip - never been to Cancun. Alcap26
Damn the back is screaming. I went today and took a lesson from a new instructor and it was by far the best lesson I have ever been to. She put things to where it was easy to understand. She watched my swing and took notes and told me after about twenty to twenty-five shots that my swing looked good and I struck the ball well but there were three minor things she saw but only wanted to focus on one and mentioned another. First was my grip I had the right thumb on top of the shaft and riding up[ my left thumb so she wanted to slide it down a little...boy did that feel weird. Then she mentioned I was starting my swing with my hips instead of my left shoulder. Also my shoulders sit the on an even plane instead of the right slightly lower. We focused on the grip because this will adiust the shoulders. Hey for forty bucks for the hour I feel like I got a ton of info. Anyway I will be out of the loop for a while starting thursday...going on a little vacation...Kansas to play Colbert Hills in Manhattan, Kansas and then back to Sarasota Florida for some sun and a little golf. Damn this was long winded but I haven't been very productive lately so I thought I would make up for it. Hope everyone has a good night. chainsaw
I find it interesting that you said she, Al. I think the best lessons I ever got were from a futures tour player in Dallas who taught at the Nicklaus/ Flick school in Dallas. I wonder why that is? Maybe it just takes a girl to get into our thick skulls

Mike
For the most part you are so right it is not funny . If I do ever go for lessons it will be with a female teacher cause most of the men want you to change your swing to be like there so they can brag about it to there friends. Have tried the MonteCristo and really liked the , but just for a change am trying about 4 different brands and will more then likely settle in on a mix of Monte's . Alcap26
I have tried a few male instructors and they all seem to have an agenda and that my swing was crap and they were going to overhaul theirs. Tammy Lohren is the instrustor I went to and she looked at what I had and reasoned out why we were going to do the things we were doing. She showed me and had simple drills and tried to not get too technical because I am a feel player. The other instructors had a system and I was going to conform to it but she went with what I had. Thanks for the well wishes guys. I won't be back on probably for another 10 days.

chainsaw
But I have got this funny feeling and no it's not below my waist that JD is due for another major That would be the best thing to happen to golf in a long time. Sunday's viewer numbers would be through the roof if he's leading going into the round. Heck, I'd postpone the easter egg hunt for that. I;ve got my fingers crossed for him but I'm not going to put any money on it. I should drive down to the sportsbook tonight just to see what the odds are. Matter of fact I think I will....................
