Alcap26
I have been neglecting my gutter gang duties myself. Just been covered up. Glad to herar the game has come around. I am currently tring out a graphite shaft in the 7 iron. I guess you can call it a tryout. I have hit maybe 50 ball with it. May be going that route. Who the hell knows. Just wish I could play pain free. I wonder what driver Mike is trying out? Could it be an r7 or a tourstage offering?

Al, how do you like your Zs? What kind of shaft do you have in them? I'm thinking of trying them out -- they seem pretty similar to my Apex Edge Pros. It has been pretty dead around here. AKFLY
Boy has it ever been dead here today :-D  Is the whole Gutter Gang on vacation right now    Where is everybody   The 660 is gone ?????????? The magic shaft ? The holy grail of shafts ? Please tell me what you got. That is so funny I was thinking of trying something else. shoe295
Busy busy busy....too much to do not enough time, definitely not enough cash and a golf game that is questionable at best...in fact I got to thinking as I was whacking the ball around the course a few too many time how unbelievably hard this game is...for instance...a lot of the guys who get full scholarships to play at 4 yr colleges have around a 2 handicap..after playing 250 rounds a year for 4 years they might get to scratch, an improvement of 2-4 shots a round...AFTER 1000 rounds and untold practice over FOUR freaking years...then they MIGHT be able to play and practice 300 days a year for a few more YEARS to get good enough to finish 70th on the PGA's money list, maybe....correct me if my train of thought is somehow mistaken...now given the above, how can I expect myself to get better with the paltry amount I get to play and practice :) :surprize: :wah: ..I have come to the conclusion that it's amazing I play so well most of the time..time to ease back on myself and just have fun.. enough deep thoughts...I've hurt my head.. the only Driver comments I have are WOW I love that club  ever since I put the 510 mid in play with that high end fuji I hit ball no more left...when I miss it's to the right which is a totally new experience for me...I still can't get over the fact that I hit it straight or with a nice 5 yd fade..me ..a fade...I'd have sooner believed a politician before I'd have believed that possible....now if my Scratch wedges get here before the snow flies life will be grand.. good luck in the days to come to all...may no camel spit in your path

It will have a NV 75s tipped 3/4" and it will play 45" . And if it does work out am not getting rid of the 500 , no way , not going to happen . It will become my backup driver with the 660 still in it . Alcap26
Al, how do you like your Zs? What kind of shaft do you have in them? I'm thinking of trying them out -- they seem pretty similar to my Apex Edge Pros. Â It has been pretty dead around here. Hip, I like the z101's just wish I could play a full round right now. I am just trying a graphite in the 7 to see how it feels to the hands and elbows. I hate the shaft but it might just work. It is a pro force 75s. I loathe this damn thing but the ball flight is pretty good but I will not use a laker launcher. If I go graphite I have been looking at the apache mfs115 and the aerotech offerings and the fibersteel offerings. Out of a search for relief I bought one of the compression braces for the elbow and it seems to take the pain away...maybe tennis elbow. Damn doctors...The orthopedic I am seeing had me on clarinex and now mobic to try for the month...no relief. He wanted to do a cortizone pack but I do not react good to steriods. I just wish they would give me a damn cortizone shot and get the pain away so I could strengthen it so this could go the hell away. Can you tell I am just a little miffed. I hate this. The weather here is great and b/4 long the time will change and it will cut back on my golf time. Oh well....what do you guys think of the new avatar? I may either keep it or use the one below of Peter dressed as Gene Simmons. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
shoe295
Mike...no chemical aids necessary :-D ..spent enough time off the planet in my youth :o ..I just think to much sometimes.. Al..I feel your pain..that kind of nagging stuff gets damn frustrating after a while...especially when it seems like the MD's are playing a guessing game as for causes/solutions :-) ..for what's it's worth hang in and I hope it gets better soon... Love the new avatar...actually either of them is great..
Alcap26
Played golf yesterday and I have no pain. Did not play the best...tempo with the irons was horrible. I mean there were a few el hosels but I did have three eagle putts. Made par on all three. Oh well...maybe the new toy will help with that  . I hope the nagging problem has gone but I did notice when i hit a three wood after the round on the range...I hit it good but took a divot after the ball deeper than normal it let me know the wrists/elbows were there. I think I will ease back in so I don't have this flare up again.

Minimal302
How's this for consistency, first 18 I shoot 84, it was HORRIBLE. The course had a play all day thing going so we decided to play another 9. Shoot one under with three lipouts for birds. I love this game.

It will play from 35 inches...have a steel shaft and probably weight in the 300+ gram range. Should be in the area of 4° loft

Alcap26
Nope not a redx. The good thing was I paid for it on Sat night and it was here today...the bad thing I got home too late to get it from the post office so i have to get there tomorrow to sign for it. It is a putter and it is in the moi category but I will leave you hanging until tomorrow. From the looks of things you are in love with your new driver. Congrats. I honestly think the NV is the best bang for the buck shaft out there but I haven't tried any fujis. Can't afford them.
