Mike
Yes , somebody else is ALIVE  Was beginning to wonder about that . I will accept playing golf as an excuse . This time   Glad you played well Alan , both days this weekend have been perfect for golf , but yesterday back was not feeling that great so no play as I didn't want to screw it up any more before flying to Ontario on Wed . As for today I never seem to get a game on Sunday . Alan did I read that right , did you say SNOW :surprize: Wow , I thought you were too far south to get any of that white s**t :-D
Alcap26
Oh no Mike...we get snow but the thing is that it is usually gone in no more than 3-5 days. This was just a slight dusting due to a cold front pushing in and Tuesday it is supposed to be 47 and wed 55 with some showers. The thing about East TN is the weather always changes in the valley. For example last year I was playing golf on a Monday by wed. we had 4 inches of snow and by the next Monday you could have played golf again. Have to pick up the car tomorrow then get the windows done and get ready for the trip. That's all for now.

shoe295
As I sit here ass-less due to the fact I froze it off over the week end I contemplate how the hell one sits without his butt...not well..not comfortably..and try to figure where to put my head after I say something really stupid..which when you speak before you think happens only every 15 minutes or so... Alan am glad somebody can get some playing time in..I have a new club and a new clubhead that I can't even take to the backyard for fear my arms will fall off due to the cold..gonna get to 33 tomorrow..woooo whoooo..so maybe I'll go to the heated range... Andy..Da Bears...game was over by the 2nd quarter anyway..sorry my friend ..... packed up my irons and shipped them to Joe Kwok yesterday...may have to sell something to be able to take a trip after I get them back unless we get some eastern tennessee weather..really don't think I can wait until April to hit them... and just for your amusement..check this idiot out http://www.big-boys.com/articles/loadbike.html

Sgt_Slaughter
i do have to say that the idiot on the bike was pretty stupid, lol. who in the hell would want to try and do that. watched the others that were posted and they were pretty funny. i am bored as well, little chilly outside to swing a club, so i sat here and played counter strike: condition zero. just waiting for friday and hoping i get my ps2/ or xbox, my r7 stand bag, my ccm velocity 1 piece stick and my t-40 tour 3-wood. lol. its a lot, but the stick and the bag i need, lol. broke both. i had enuff of the wood sticks. ive broken i believe 6 in the past 2.5 yrs, lol. so back to 1 piece composite. the 3-wood was only 50 bucks bc i picked it out on a forum and mom payed for it but it for christmas. and the ps2 or xbox r going for cheap now. dad promised one, so we better get it,lol have a wonderful holidays everyone. AKFLY
Shoe - the Bears game was over before the kick off. Actually nice. The party will continue tonight as the in-laws (outlaws) are actually coming over for dinner. I hope you all enjoyed the links...that horse kicks hard. I tried not to link something that would not be work friendly. Alcap26
Today was a balmy 44 degrees and went and played golf. Greens were still a touch hard so time to play to the front and let it release to the hole or land it short and let it feed up. One of those days where you sit back and say I will take what the course gives me. Well I shot a 78 (which was the high number in my threesome...the other two shot even par and 4 over). The 78 was the worst I could have shot today...could have easily been 76 because I missed two putts I should not have missed. Slightly and I mean slightly disappointed but I have not had a round like this in a while so it was much needed. What exceled for me was chipping and pitching which has hurt me some over the last few rounds. 10 pars, 7 bogeys, and one birdie. The bird was the highlight of the round because I snaked in a 60 footer to get me even money with the other two. The irons are great...I am hitting the sweet spot a bunch more instead of the leaning dangerously close to the heel. It was a great day. We played in three hours flat. Hope you guys had a good day but I am afraid some of you might be cursing me because you could not get out there. Oh well :-) . Have a great night! Mike
Alan at least you got to play . Hell 78 I would take in a heart beat right about now , for a fact anything below 80 would be great  Any ways guys , hope you all have a very Festive Holiday Season a head of you as as of tomorrow at zero dark stupid ( 05:00 ) am out of here and heading back to the folks . Don't know if I will be able to stop while I am gone , but if I get a chance will try . Merry Christmas to you all and a Happy New Year . shoe295
Mike..a safe and happy Holiday to you and yours for certain.. Alan..its only -14* tonight and they say the high will be -20* tomorrow..i don't think i'll be playing...any damn place where you have to plug in your damn car so it starts is NOT i repeat myself NOT suited to human habitation...am tempted to call the freaking Federal Government and request emergency airlifting to someplace where it's at least 20*... and yes my sense of humor is probably over developed..i really have a hard time taking anything seriously that does not immediately threaten life and limb...and no I've never gotten any flax seed oil or arthritis rub from Barry Bond's trainer.. glad you played so well...I kicked Sunday Tiger Woods' ass at Poppy Hills..if only I could hit the ball so far in real life
