AKFLY
Well guys , the S300 that are in my 37's right now will be history soon  This morning arederes a set of TFR's 6.0 2I - PW for them . Also ordered some Royal Extreme V Grips and some ferrelus from GolfWorks Canada . They are located in Eastern Ontario ( Ottawa ) and with shipping it came to a grand total of $243 :money:  I figured what the hell got the cash right now so might as well do the change now . Almost ordered a NVS also for the DF , but at the last second changed my mind . :surprize:  Maybe next month   Cancel the order - golfsmith has $25 off coupon for components over $150. E mailed you the coupon. Hope it helps. Good job on holding off on the NVS - I really did not like the shaft in my 540XD - untipped.

That is in Can funds if I was to order from GolfSmith it would be in US funds , plus shipping in US funds then the exchange rate and then custom fee's and taxed at the border . So I figure I am ahead of the game already  Sent you a reply to your email Andy .
Alcap26
Well gentlemen hope your weekends are going good. I have not accomplished one thing over the past week and it has felt damn good...although have had a job opprutunity fall into my lap that I have to decide on by Monday. Could be quite an opprutunity but it is about a 20 month commitment and would have quite a large coverage area and we have not talked money yet so it is still nothing definite. Got to think about it. I also have an interview with Merck on 4-14 so hopefully a new job will be in the future. Waiting on a price on the Mp32 to see if I want them from my local course or go through someone else. I would like to get a competitive price from them so I might have to tell them what kind of price Discount dans gave me. Hope everyone has a good sunday. I might actually play tomorrow. I am back - and managed three rounds. The first round was tough as it was the first time in months that I hit off of grass - plus the play was just damn slow - my excuse and I am sticking with it. Round 2 - was better but the damn putter was still rusty. Round 3 much better as I managed a 83 - shooting 39 on the back with a damn triple on the 14th. Anyway I feel great. Just need to keep playin and practicing. Also, the 660 R7 combo is sweet. Actually both drivers are great - but the R7 660 gets the nod for the sex appeal - just wish it had the sound of the 540 DF. What's new here ?

Mike
Won't work for ditch weed Mike...could use them for hops? Well shoe , I guess that would be a good use . Only thing is what would I do with the hop's ??? Don't drink so making my own beer would be out of the question . And beside's BC does not have ditch weed . It called the best in the world for a reason you know
shoe295
Hummmm...well you don't have snow (that last long anyway) so can't stick them at the end of the driveway to mark the edges..maybe use them to practice sword fighting so you can emulate Mandy Pitankin in "The Princess Bride"?...ah well...just stick them in the corner and something will come up..hell who knows maybe I'll buy one of them from you..then they could sit in my corner until I decide what to do with them..
shoe295
I'm in the market for a new driver...money is not a factor let's say (no references to the $5000 spent on that ebay auction for the FT-3..I'm insane not foolish) but I'm torn between buying something used and spending the $$ to reshaft it, buying new domestic and reshafting despite the fact that it brings the price up to some of the Japanese stuff Chris sells or buying new Japanese even tho I hesitate to pull the trigger on something I can't hit and have no idea how it would work for me. My swingspeed is up to 105 thanks to off season training and some subtle swing changes. I appreciate the knowledge here and would enjoy it if you'd share your thoughts. Thanks in advance
Mike
shoe , who have got a ton to pick and choose from . Ping G2 , any of the new Cobra drivers , Clevelend 460 . I could go on with more , but if I was looking for a new driver those would be the ones I would be looking at . Almost forgot  Plus I would wait for the new Titleist 905 to make an apperence before I decided on what to buy . :smile1:

Thanks in advance I have one word of advice for you: Just get a nice driver that fits your eye...open, closed, square, whatever. And then put the right shaft in it. I have found the best combo in a Nak 380 w/Fuji 27.3. That shaft is inexpensive, but the results are just so damn good for my swing. Cost doesn't mean jack.

Thanks in advance Shoe, If you are going domestic try before you buing. My R7 TP is treating me great - $325 for the head used and I am sure you can get a better deal. Longer than my 510 Tp and as easy to hit as my 540 TP. Anywho - try a few I am sure demo days are coming.
Mike
Demo days  We have one in May on the 7th . I will be very afraid to attend as who's knows what will show up in my bag  :money:   Considering there will be a s**t load of Cameron's there
shoe295
Big demo day coming the 23rd-24th of April just down the road in Rockford. I took vacation on the 23rd so I can attend and spend the day hitting all kinds of stuff. It will count as testing since it will be outdoors and not into a net  . I appreciate all the responses as I always have such a hard time making any kind of decision. Usually end up quintuple thinking myself and losing sleep (which has already happened) because instead of counting sheep I count purchase possibilities which excite me instead of calming me to sleep.. . I really believe Hipchecks SHAFT makes the greatest difference...but as with driver heads there are just too damn many choices. I do so much better when its just Chocolate or Vanilla instead of 31 flavors  I haven't even played a round yet and already made a bag change..the Odyssey is back in and the Gauge putter is on the sidelines..after my handicap went from 1.3 to 6 last year and I didn't make anything on the practice green the other day I dragged it out of the corner and proceeded to knock in every thing in sight. Although that Eldik M is looking finer every time I see a picture..and how can you not like something named El Dik as in Mr. El Dik to your competitors...
Sgt_Slaughter
we should be having one soon. but im looking at buying a new putter soon. most liekly scotty cameron. debating on the new port series or the futura.
