Posted November 27, 200618 yr Dear TSGers. Now we can pre-order New X-Drive 460 series from Chris, however, i'm very confused the launching shaft ie Tour AD QUATRO TECH. In compare with those of pre X-Drive series, the torque of QUATRO is really high. In case of 65 series, S has 3.8 and XS has 3.6 maybe in my memory. I usually prefer the middle weight of 60g and 3.2~3.4 range of torque shaft. The best one was the Tour AD M65 Stiff flex. Please anyone let me know the characteristic of Quatro TEC shaft. Based on my experience and data, I should have choose X-stiff. Is it good choice? Thanks

November 28, 200618 yr Author whats your swing speed like? Tempo? Transition? dont pay attention to the Torque rating. My SS is around 105~107mph and have quick transition tempo. Moreover, I'm not a swinger but rather hitter. Your propmt reply would be greatly appreciated. For your reference, the best ones were Tour AD M65 Stiff, Fuji Tour Spec 661 Stiff, and Matrix Ozik Code 6 stiff and so on. Thanks

They both have import items so a nice plus. Mainstream place like Roger Dunn's in Santa Anna is an option, but for some reason not sure about their fitting credentials.
November 28, 200618 yr Zerohandy, I would say stick with the S shaft. Based on your swing speed and the way you described your swing, the S will reward you on days your swing is good and help you out on those less than stellar days. Don't be too concerned with the torque of the club. Just my two cents.

Furthermore, nowadays i practice reducing my swing tempo and yardage for more accurate field management. Your crucial advice will be of good assiatance of my choosing the beauty. Thanks.
